Company that wants to take our piece of
gorgeous land and mince it up for pavement
for the USA highways, etc.!!
This land is the 'proposed site' for the quarry.
It is a beautiful unspoiled area. Many people have
enjoyed the beauty that unfolds here for many
generations.
Even though nature had torn away easy passage to
and from the shoreline and beach, it was
always easily accessible by ATV's, and hikers alike.
There are many forms of wildlife that have,
and still do, roam upon it.
" WILL IT EVENTUALLY LOOK LIKE THIS ?? "

This is where we live, the village
of Little River. Will we let the
quarry and all the destruction come in
and take it away from us??

"WHITE COVE & EASTERN HEAD, Little River."
EASTERN HEAD was the possible quarry site 10 years
ago to which was stopped by the efforts of
"The Society for the Preservation of Eastern Head".
We face the battle again now.
A company from North Carolina called "Patterson Exploration"
released news that an undisclosed company, which is
Nova Stone Exporters Inc., plans a quarry to
excavate and export aggragate rock (basalt)to USA.
There are no doubt more companies involved.
