He's the best there is at what he does, and that happens to be scrappin' and slicin'. Wolverine is a mutant with super healing power and near-feral instincts. He also has adamantium, a virtually indestructible metal, bonded to his skeleton and three claws that project from each hand. A long-time loner, Wolverine has found a home with the X-Men and has developed a reputation as the team member who's not afraid to get his hands dirty (with the insides of his enemies) to get the job done.

This all new, all different Wolverine is considered the Ultimate Wolverine. Not from the same universe as the original X-Men, this Wolverine looks entirely different. Long greasy hair, small goatee and a wacky costume that looks more like a professional wrestler costume than a superheroes', Ultimate Wolverine has got it goin' on! However, there is much we don't know about this new version of Logan, but judging from his counterpart's history, we may never know! - Costume Change B

A member of the X-Men, the mutant Logan was unwillingly subjected to the Weapon X program which bonded adamantium to his skeleton and gave him his trademark claws. Ask him about his past, and you'll get a blank stare - it's all a mystery to him. Thanks to a mind-wipe by Weapon X, he has no knowledge of how old he is, his parents, or what he did prior to serving as a government agent. - Secret Identity Wolverine
