If you want a good comedy anime, Tenchi Muyo! is a good way to go. Although the story has a few variations, the main plot is about a seemingly normal teen named Tenchi whose boring life is changed when several alien girls drop in on him and battle for his love. There have been an OAV series, along with 2 TV series and 3 movies, but sadly, the "Universe" series (the 1st TV) doesn't hold the high standards of the OAVs (I haven't had a chance to see Shin Tenchi Muyo! [Tenchi in Tokyo] yet...) However, the awesome theme to the TV series saves it, as most of the music in all the TM! versions rules. ^_^
