Princess Sasami is Ayeka's little sister, but she is usually the more mature of the two. Sasami is somewhat attracted to Tenchi, but doesn't fight with the other girls for him, like Ryoko and her sister. She is often seen with Ryo-Ohki, because she had taken a liking to Sasami since birth. Sasami is also a very good cook, probably the only good cook in the series (most everyone else has tried, with limited, if any, success).
Sasami's spaceship/guardian tree is Tsunami, and at the same time, Sasami is Tsunami! (explanation on Tsunami's page) Sasami can use only some of the Juraian powers Ayeka uses, but is either too young and hasn't reached her full potential yet, or she simply chooses not to. Sadly, again, all this good background is only in the OAV.
At times during the Tenchi seires (OAV and TV), Sasami transforms into Pretty Sammy, which was really just a Sailor Moon parody (but pretty funny for a parody :> ). During the Pretty Sammy episodes, Ryo-Ohki gains the ability to talk (who else is gonna tell her when to transform?).
