Emma and I met back in high school, and she was one of my first girlfriends. After many years we have become good friends and I think she's been instrumental in the way I've developed as a person. It wouldn't have been the same without her.
She's engaged to Dave (although I don't remember his last name), who's a decent and funny guy. No date has been set yet, but my wife and I are looking forward to it.
