Historical flags of Allacoa
1. Flag of the Confederacy of the Autonomous Communites of Allacoa (299- )
a) Current flag
Red, Gold, and Green are the colors of the "People's Emperors" of the Mawuni dinasty. Symbolism is the same as the symbolism of the flag during the Mawuni era. (see below). Black diagonal stripe edged in gold symbolizes the long struggle for independence. Yellow five-pointed star in the upper hoist side is an ancient symbol of Allacoa. The flag was first hoisted in Unancha following the declaration of the independence of the Confederacy, in August 299.

2. Second colonial age (268-299)

This flag was used by the Yellow Free State colonists, though it was never officially adopted.

In the first part of this period a slightly altered imperial standard of the Bin Mounir dinasty. A small Mauretaniean flag was put in the upper hoist side to siginfy Mauretanie's sovereignity over Afrazah. Interestingly enough, during the long period of anarchy in the 90s, various warlords have continued to use this flag, probably in an attempt to present themselves as the representatives of the Bin Mounir government.
3. Second imperial age (226-268)

This is the imperial ensign of the Bin Mounir dinasty. Following the July compromise, Afrazah was allowed to use its own flag, so the dinastic standard came into use.
4. First colonial age (176-226)
a) 27th January, 176 - 2nd July, 226
In the first colonial age flag of Mauretanie was used. It sometimes included the "B.C.A" (abbrevation for Bureau of Colonial Affairs) inscription in the upper fly side.
5. "The people's empire" (123-176)
a) 11th April, 123 - 27th January, 176
Red, Gold, and Green are the colors of the "People's Emperors" of the Mawuni dinasty. Red stands for might, Gold for the lifegiving Sun and Green for hope.
6. First imperial age (175 BP -123)
The traditional symbol of the Bin Mounir dinasty is the Elephant, as found on numerous monuments from this time. Towards the end of the period, however, another symbol, cross with a crescent increasingly began to be used, especially in the army. One of the flags which survived from this period is the flag which flew over the imperial palace in Meda'a. On it, there was an elephant below a crescent and a cross on a blue field.
7. Early period (prehistory to 175 BP)
No flags of pre-empire states survived to this date. However, common symbol found on the coins of the Azikwe confederacy is the five-pointed star.
