I have been around religious circles and had church affiliations for many years and have seldom heard this most hideous of all sins addressed. I have heard Ministers and men of religion for many years address such sin as prostitution, homosexuality but seldom the most hideous of all. If we look at these which are all listed in the Word of God as"abominations" to him we might make some bystanders assessments. Prostitution is sometimes referred to as the oldest (profession) sin for it has been around as long as there are records of humankind. This, if we look close , in reality is generally entered into be cause of money and gain. Oft times is forced on unwilling participants by wicked persons who hold some power over the victim and cause them to stay in this position for their (so called) owners lucrative gain. Next briefly we will look at homosexuality which is running rampant in America and I suppose in many other places. Although this practise is disgusting to the thoughts of most people you must agree that in many cases (not all) it is an act between two consenting adults. Although this does not justify it in the sight of God it does not always identify a perpetrator. The next topic I will attempt to discuss is the most hideous of all. Its perpetrators walk among us unseen by the naked eye. They come from all walks of life, They range from nearly all ages and in all most all cases are male in gender. They come from such noble professions as clergy, and as low as any member of the family. What is this most hideous destructive (sin) crime against humanity ? We have several different names for it but in actuality is worse in some cases than murder. Many times its victims are left in a state of confusion, wherein they seek death, seek to hide within their deranged minds, oftimes take up forms of self mutilation(examples***) brought on by the crime that was committed against them. ***(((examples such as overeating to gain excessive weight or anorexia because of mental instability anything to cause thmselves to be less desirable or attractive as to not become victims again))) I will enter the next portion of my writing by quoting the last verse of scripture in the Old Testament. [Malachi 4:6]"And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers , lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. How can we as human beings made in God's own image permit this act of incest/rape to go on basically unprotested by the church and not nearly enough opposition is raised by the people. These children are violated by family, church workers, friends(so called) and people to whom they look up to and should be their protectors. They are scarred physically, emotionally, mentally and socially. These victims are rarely at the hands of the criminal bad guy element but are criminally violated by people they love and trust. How can we stop this abuse from happening short of becoming a police society and this would just change the perpetrators looks. I say it is high time for the church to repent of its socially acceptable watered down version of looking like a group of holy Joes and begin weeping and crying at the altars of God untill the Lord comes and rains righteousness upon us. These young men and ladies, whom I have met several of, are so horribly disfunctional as members of society. They are afraid to make friends (no trust), are pushed into loneliness are suffering from guilt because they think they were to blame, are angry with God because he allowed it to happen, and angry with family for not protecting their innocense. They become suicidal to escape the guilt or addicted to cover it or try to hide their heads in shame as if they were wearing a sign exposing themselves. To add to this scenario many have health problems due to the mistreatment and some become abusive themselves as a form of retribution. This next section may seem a little far fetched as far as healing but it will work for some. If there is anything the wicked hate whether human kind or spirits it is to be identified. For this reason they hold their victims in fear for themselves or their loved ones.(John 3:19 Men love darkness(secrecy) better than light because their deeds are evil.) They sometimes bribe them with favors but usually it is done with threats. If you have been sexually molested or raped (sexual act with minor)or ( sex without your willing and desired consent) then shout it from the housetops. Shout it till someone comes to your aid. Shout it till the guilty party seeks to be away from your presence, Shout it till you know you have been a victim and were not responsible. The most difficult to deal with is if a baby is being violated and here we must pray and have a close relationship with God so he will show us that this is happening, and then deal with it appropriately. To close my friend, we must know that a murderer leaves a corpse but a rapist leaves a person sometimes a member of the nearly walking dead. Leaves them to wander and suffer for the rest of their life . The only real hope is if we can introduce them to the living God. This is the most hideous sin of all!
