- 1) Wednesday, October 6, 1999:
Blues guitarist and singer, songwriter Jonny Lang comes in and lays
down some killer solos. Isaac says, "It is very cool to know a guy your
age who can play like that, it is really inspiring. And we are also big fans
of his most recent record "Wander This World" so that makes it even
better."
- 2) Friday, October 8, 1999:
DJ Swamp, (the DJ for Beck) does a little scratching.
- 3) Monday, October 11, 1999:
Hanson works with string arranger David Campbell to do strings on two
songs. "We worked with David on "Yearbook" and "I Will Come to You"
from the last record so it was great to work with him again" says Zac.
"When you put strings on a song it always seems to make it more
complete. And it's great feeling to just sit at the piano and give out ideas,
and on the spot they are charted and put down." adds Taylor.
- 4) Wednesday, October 20, 1999:
Singer, songwriter and Harmonica virtuoso John Popper puts down some
solos. "We met John last summer while we were both on tour and played
with Blues Traveler in Virginia Beach. So it was only natural that when we
wanted harmonica John was the guy we called" says Taylor.
- 5) Thursday, October 21, 1999:
"Sauce" a choir conducted by Rose Stone of "Sly and the Family Stone"
comes in to sing on two songs. "What a cool experience to have such a
soulful group come in and sing. It makes you realize how far you have to
go." says Zac.
