Hagrid is half-giant; his mother was a giantess named Fridwulfa. His father was a human wizard. In school Hagrid was in the HufflePuff tower, Tom Riddle had Hagrid expelled, because of his pet spider and other various things. At that time Albus Dumbledore, was not Head Master of Hogwarts though he did make sure that Hagrid was given the job of gamekeeper, and is loosely told not to use his magic unless told to. Hagrid is very fond of his students Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley; he is also fond of Madame Maxime. Hagrid loves wild magical creatures, like the three headed dog-called 'Fluffy'. Hagrid is a giant from who knows where. He went to Hogwart's as a kid but was expelled for owning an evil Slytherin animal called "The Serpent of Death". But,Dumbledore, being the kind and powerful wizard,was able to keep Hagrid as the grounds keeper. He has aloving heart but can be strict. He hides many secret's from Harry, but he always finds out what the secret's are. Hagrid was at school 50 years ago when the chamber was last opened. Tom Riddle ( Voldemort ) caught Hagrid with a pet spider and acused him. He was then expeled from Hogwarts, but Dumbledor who was not head master at the time managed to keep him as the game keeper. Now Harry and Ron had proven it was not Hagrid that opened the chamber but Riddle he is now teacher of Care Of Magical Creatures. Hagrid keeps many pets and has a obsession with them. He has a large, 3 headed dog called Fluffy, has kept an illegal dragon in his house and has a boarhound named Fang and then of course there is Buckbeak. Hagrid was an early Greek God; the God of jewels. Hagrid means giant and Rubeus means jewels. Hades framed him for the death of Perseus-the killer of Medusa. He was banned from Olympus; but Zues took pity on him and gave him the job of caring for all the Godly creatures. Sent in by Shirly.

Hagrid is a giant twice the size of a normal man. When he was going to Hogwarts he got expelled for something he didn't do. Dumbledore let him stay on as game keeper. He took harry out of the ruins of his house after Voldemort killed his parents. He lives in a hut by the school. He loves magical and dangarous creatures like unicorns and giant spiders. He even hatched a dragon. (Which is illegal.) In the third book he becomes the care of magical creatures teachers. He goes threw painful times when his pet hippogriff is accused (unfairly) of hurting Malfoy. He is almost killed but Harry saves him.-Kacy

Rubeus Hagrid is gamekeeper at Hogwarts. He used to attend Hogwarts as a boy, but was expelled when he was caught keeping a large and dangerous animal in the school then thought to of been the Monster of Slytherin. In Harry’s second year though, Hagrid was cleared of all charges when the real Monster was found and in Harry’s third year he was allowed to teach the Care of Magical Creatures classes. Hagrid is double the height of a normal man and he has a thick, bushy beard. But, even if he does look a bit frightening, Hagrid cares a lot for Harry. He rescued Harry from Harry’s destroyed house after Voldemort had killed his parents and bought him to Privet Drive. It was also Hagrid who bought Harry the good news of him attending Hogwarts.
