A new book is released and its time to do a bit of "spring" cleaning... I've deleted all the previous rumors and I'm starting to put some new ones up!! So anyways.... Send them in! *Note: Also, make sure puncuation, grammer and captalization and spelling is correct...*

I just wanted to say that your website is one of the best Harry Potter websites online its really updated, cool, and even funny. I just wanted to submit a well thought out rumor too: In Book 5, Harry is home with the Dursleys again in the beginning of the summer, and gets invited to the Burrow. When he gets there, none other then Fluer Delacour is there with Bill. It turns out the Weasleys are giving her a ride to Hogwarts to start teaching potions! Thats right potions! Snape finally gets the Defense Against Dark Arts job, but is strangely not at all the lessons. He is a spy for Dumbledore against Voldemort pretenting to be a Death Eater, and is liking Harry better!!!! Also, I've been doing a lot research. In Hogsmeade at the Three Broomsticks when Harry overhears Fudge talking about how hew thinks or as he says, knows that Black betrayed the Potters, he says that Dumbledore had a useful spy that tipped him off that the Potters were next in line with Voldemort. They don,t say who the spy was however. Then when Sirius, Lupin, Snape, Harry, Ron, and Hermione are in the Shrieking Shack, before Harry and the others disarm Snape he says to Harry "Like father like son, I have just saved your neck; you should be thanking me on bended knee." Anyways, when did Snape save James Potter's life like he thought he did for Harry..... Dumbledore said Snape was a Death Eater that turned spy for him..... was he the spy that tipped Dumbledore off that Voldemort was heading for the Potters? -Stripes

I think that Snape will die in a later book , because Voldemort said that 6 death eaters were missing and 1 had left him forever and 'he shall be killed , of cors'and remember Snape left him and it would not be Kastrof Because voldamort that one had run away and he ran away that night -"Nacasara"

Ok Aribella Figg cannot be Mrs.Figg because she must have been Sirus's age because she was the old crowd with lupin and others mentioned in sirus's flashbacks. Snape's job will be to go back to Voldemort and he will assainite Dumbledore. Dumbledore will either fake his own death or he will let himself be killed to set snape in a piostion to take Voldemort down or help Sirus and Harry kill voldemort in the 7th book. Lupin will come back as the Defense againist the dark arts teacher and Fleur will work as a teacher's helper and Krum will come back as a First year flying teacher and Quidditch refree. Karkoff will come back and work with Dumbledore and Siruis will stay at Hagrid's hut for the year. Harry wont be hunted as much but it will be a assault on the entire School again trying to frame harry. Dementors will come into the school because fudge wants to keep an eye on Dumbledore.- Melissa

There are two very important facts about Lily Potter which you might have missed. 1. Her maiden name is discovered soon, this is one of the discoveries and links her to something I ain't telling you.
2. In one of the last two books, we find out why her eyes are so important and especially, why they will be important to Harry. Notice how everyone singles out the fact that Harry has his Mum's eyes in the first three books. This was actually admitted by JK Rowling after questioning on Newsround by Leezo (one of the presenters.) If you are American then you will get the rumours from someone else, but if you can get British TV, Newsround often has the HP true rumours before most.-James

Remember how St.Mungus Hospital is constantly mentioned in book 4? It seems possible that this hospital will make an appearance in b5,6,or7 just like how Azkaban is mentioned in book 2 and turns up in book 3 perhaps we will get to meet the parents of Neville Longbottom.- Ejjman

In the end of B4, Hagrid and Madame Maxime are asked to do something over the summer... but Hagrid can't tell Harry what it is... he also said that Madame Maxime didn't want to do it, but Hagrid had almost convinced her... i bet they were asked to make peace w/ the giants before Voldemort did! I just finished the 4th book when this idea occured to me. I think it is highly possible that Ron will go over to the Dark Side whether permanent or temporray I couldn't quite say. My reasons for this are : In the 4th book, Ron was a bit nastier than usual. Griping about Hermione and Krum, not speaking to Harry, upset about being poor and really enjoying what Moody did to Malfoy(of course, I loved that as well) Ron always wanting to be recognized. The dark side is tempting that way and Voldemort is always promising his helpers with rewards. Going over would give Ron the attention he wants albeit negative attention. It would be a way for Rowling to have Harry and Ron work out this subtle rivalry. If that is the case then Ron;s coversion would only be temporary. As far Harry and Hermione go, I think they will get together ala James and Lilly but not until the 6th or 7th book and it will be in a scenario where the two of them are battling the dark side and Harry realizes how much he cares for her. I think that Harry will keep trying with Cho, who woun't be interested, he'll finally end up convincing her to give him a chance but it woun't work out anyway. I never thought of Mrs.Figg and Arabella Figg before, thanks Whitney, who ever you are (no offence!) I recon (and hope) that there will be war and cliffhangers in the next one, it'd be pretty darn good! I'm pretty sure Hagrid and 'Olmpie' are going to give envoys to the giants, cos' Dumbledore dosen't really care about the Ministry anyway. Draco'll stop dating that pug-faced Pansy girl and relise that Cho or someone's way prettier so he'll compete against Harry trying to get her attention. I'm not sure what Dumbledore wanted Snape to do, but I'm pretty sure Harry'll find out, and that 'it' will have an impact, and change the story abit. I don't think he's spying on the dark side again, it's too odvious and Voldemort'd know, some how or other. Okay, hows this for a theory; Snape used to be a rebel who had the Impuris or whatever curse on him and followed Voldemort's instructions until he broke free, and he had to keep doing his bidding to gather enough information to be of any use to anyone if he escaped, because he let himself be put under the impervious curse because all of the above was his plan for being a spy, and if anyone found out, he'd be killed (Dumbledore said 'He was a spy passing on informatin at great personal risk, remember?)! But he started to painic and only just escaped alive, but he dropped out to early and he didn't find enough out, so he'd ruined his firt chance! And while he was spying, he helped squander information about Dumbledore, The Potters, etc. so Dumbledore knows he's trust worthy! But I don't know (or haven't even theorised about) what Dumbledore wants him to do. And it's just a theory, okay? No known facts!-Nightshade

Voldemort hunts down Snape in his attempt to take back his old Death eater, and Ludo Bagman goes back to the Dark side and helps him capture Harry. I also think that Fred and George Weasley drop out of Hogwarts to start their own joke shop with the money Harry gave them. - Andrew I think Hagrid and Madame M.'s job over the summer is to ask for friendship from the giants so that they won't go to Voldmorte when he asks them to. I also think that Fleur will become a Hogwart's teacher. -Micci and Johnny

I don't know what book it is suppose to be, in I think the seventh one. But any way, I heard that Harry is suppose to fall for a teacher ( not Mcgonogall, though) and so is Professor Snape! Also I don't know what book but, Trelawney is suppose to fall madly in love with Snape! Or is it the other way around I can't remember!-Amanda

I have a theory as to what Lily and/or James Potters' job(s) might have been, and, as J.K. says, they would fit in with why Lord Voldemort wanted them. I think that they might have been Aurors, and came so close to capturing Voldemort that he, to quote Hagrid, "just wanted them out of the way."-Jonah

When Harry graduates from Hogwarts, he will return as the new pemenant Defense against the Dark Arts teacher. And Neville will return as the Herbolgy teacher.-Frogy

What if, in the next book, Malfoy and Harry work together against the Dark Arts - secretly. Maybe it would be neat if something "tragic" happened in Malfoy's life, that would make him see how his father REALLY is, and Malfoy and his goons turn against their families. Here’s what I think will happen in the next H.P. Book ( 5 ):
WAR:
Dumbledore (including all the teachers in Hogward, the Weasleys, Harry...) will start fighting against Lord Voldemore and his followers. This “war” and the fact that Voldemore has risen again will be denied by Cornelius Fudge and the Ministry of Magic. So that Dumbledore and his friend won’t have only Voldemore as an enemy but also Fudge. I think the last two chapters of the fourth book support these arguments. Especially the name of the final chapter “The Beginning” gives hints that book 5 will contain something big like a plot which can’t be finished in one book (during one school term). I bet the next books will have a more open end than the previous ones.
In book 5 the “war” will start, but it’ll be not apparent. Wizards and witches who are too afraid of fighting won’t aid Dumbledore since the Ministry of magic makes it possible to deny the whole circumstances. Only brave and true supporters of Dumbledore will help him. The rest of the magic society will keep quiet and believe stubbornly Fudge and the Ministry.
Book 5 might end with the undeniable outbreak of war in which everybody including the Ministry and the coward wizards The conflict will be continued in book 6 and end in book 7. Maybe book 6 will be the darkest hour for Harry and his friends.
“The Parting of the Ways”: Dumbledore will get into major troubles after his argument with Fudge in book 4. He will not have as much freedom in being the principle of Hogwart as he used to have. The Ministry might even want to get rid of him.
I also think that Rita Skeeter will return. But I have 2 predictions how she will behave in this situation. 1. She will support Fudge politics in making anti tabloids against all his new enemies, Dumbledore, the Weasleys, Harry. 2. She will try to write about Dumbledore’s fight against Voldemort but will be hindered by Fudge.
Harry Potter and his friends will learn that Processor McGonagall is also an Animagus, a black cat. This was only mentioned in the first chapter of the first book ( correct me if I’m wrong).
I don’t think that Draco Malfoy will finally turn into a nice guy. Instead he, Crabbe and Goyle will support their fathers so one has to ask why Dumbledore should let them stay at Howarts. It’ll be also interesting to see how Snape will treat them. Now, that it is clearly shown that he will never return to Voldemorts side and the fathers of his favorite students are Death Eaters. I would be odd if Snape continued to treat Harry badly. <
We will learn that real supporters were not truly harmed there, why else could for example that married Death Eater couple, the Lestranges, survive. In chapter 33 “The Death Eaters” Voldemort calls them faithful for going into Azkaban. He also promises them that they will be honored beyond their dreams. I assume that only innocent prisoners died in Azkaban and that the guilty ones weren’t really hurt by the Dementors. - Kermit the Frog

At the end of the forth book Dumbledore tells Black to round up the whole crew so they can plan against Voldermort. One of the people he is supposed to get is named Arabella Figg. Sound familiar? Mrs. Figg was the old lady who watched Harry whenever the Dursleys went anywhere. -Whitney
