The Punisher’s Werewolf Costuming Page
To start with the body,
you'll need a pattern. The Simplicity Costumes
pattern #9807 is probably the most popular and readily available. You can pad this suit to make it more
muscular. For general fursuiting help,

hints.

There
are a few ways you can construct a head.
If breathablity is your chief concern, you can construct the cowl as
seen in the Simplicity pattern and the paint your face to look wolfish. You could even wear the glue-on prosthesis
to make it appear even better and still be able to breath, drink, eat,
etc. You can find a good prosthesis at:
http://www.boneyardfx.com/website8006.htm
Chamber
of Horror The most common one I’ve found but more expensive.
Pretty
much any good place that sells your common latex mask, will also sell
prosthesis. Add fangs, makeup and some
facial hair and you’re good to go.
Another way would be to carve head out of foam. Look here for some links on head
carving. This will probably be fully
covered with fur a'la a mascot type costume.
A newspaper photo appears below of what this type might look like made
to look a little more scary than your average mascot.
Here
are some great sites dealing with head building:
You could take a ready-made latex Halloween mask and
match the hair to your costume. It may
be necessary to take off the preexisting hair and gluing on hair left over from
your suit for it to match. For this
reason, I recommend finding a mask that is hairless. It will be less expensive and you can match the hair easier. Don't worry if it has latex ribbing to look
like hair, you can hot glue gun your hair to this. Position the hair beforehand so you get an idea of what it will
look like before you start to glue it down.
Make sure your mask is clean and dry before you start to glue so the
hair and glue make a good bond. This is
a pretty good method, as you don't have to go through the pain of the facial
features and such. You can get ones
that are ready to wear or some that might need some retrofitting. It's all up to your tastes and budget.

Wolf (AM1)
You could pick up a Jason type hockey mask and
build a face on it. You could build up
the face with clay, paper machè,h,
or foam. Cover it with liquid latex or
fur for added effect. Use the mouth
hole to secure the face to the mask.
You can't be too sure that the glue will hold with normal use at a party. This will also give you points to fasten
wires into that will help stiffen the nose area so it is less likely to
break. Add some paint and you've got
yourself a custom mask. This mask would
easily fit inside your cowl so you would have to worry about anything but the
face. It would be permanent and
adjustable with the back strap.
If
you want the really professional looking masks, you are going to have to put in
some extra work. These involve moveable jaws,
latex faces, and hair. Check out some
