Los Angeles County M.E.Ch.A. Central
 Voting Chapters

*VOTING PRIVILEGES

Voting Privileges will be extended solely to M.E.Ch.A. Chapters.  Voting Privileges are granted to these chapters whom attend at least three consecutive regularly scheduled Central Meetings.  Regularly, L.A.C.M.C. meetings are to be held at least once a month.  If there are two day meetings in one month period, it is to count as one regular L.A.C.M.C. meeting.  Voting Privileges are withdrawn from those M.E.Ch.A. Chapters whom miss two or more consecutive regularly scheduled general body meetings.  Voting Privileges can be regained when the M.E.Ch.A. Chapter requests their voting privileges from the L.A.C.M.C. voting chapters at their third consecutive regularly scheduled L.A.C.M.C. meeting.  A new M.E.Ch.A. Chapter seeking recognition must submit a completed registration form, chapter constitution, and a position paper to the Mesa Directiva for review.  A new M.E.Ch.A. Chapter seeking recognition must submit a request to the Central Body, one (1) Central meeting prior to the Central privileges.  At the following Central meeting, the new campus must receive a two-thirds (2/3) vote from the Central Voting Chapters, in order to obtain voting privileges.  M.E.Ch.A. Chapters will be required to pay ten ($10) dollars in monthly dues at every L.A.C.M.C. meeting (High Schools Exempt).  Failure to pay dues after two consecutive meetings will result in suspension of voting privileges until balance is paid in full.  Overdue balance will not exceed twenty dollars ($20).

*For further rules and regulations about voting rights in the L.A.C.M.C., please consult the L.A.C.M.C. Constitution Articles V.
