february 18, 2000: it's a sad day in nogginland! 8(
i was all stoked today, for it was finally Friday! noggintoboggan day! but little did i know the devastating truth that awaited me! i know i'm always the last to hear about these things, i am 4 hours away from noggintown... and i had heard that mike had gotten a haircut, but DANG! i thought i'd at least recognize him! ha ha 8) so i was at the show right and this guy i'd never seen b4 was on stage setting up the drums! "WAIT!!! HE's not MIKE!!!" i thought! so halfway thru the set jeff (as usual) broke a string and jeremy's chatting away, "We've got a new drummer tonite... mike's gone..." NO!!!!!! 8( i thought in disbelief! "IT JUST CAN'T BE!!!" but jeff sed yeah, and introduced the newest of the toboggan family as nick. i was so bummed the rest of the nite! He is a very good drummer though! just... not the same ya know? So anyways, i am setting this up as the miketoboggan memorial page. farewell mike! and God Bless with whatever it is God has called you do do!!! (this is unknown to me right now) but... you will be greatly missed, and in my heart, you will always be the one and only raddest drummer in the world... miketoboggan.

a little miketoboggan memorial story by my poser sledhead sister 8)
wait, why is he leaving.. or already gone or what the heck!?!?!?! noooo! Mike can't leave! He're is a story for his memorial page!
"I remember the first time when i ever met him! At Chonie Fest and he caught a glimpse of the ska'z on my punkpack and turned to the dude next to him and said "Look, she likes Ska!" as I proceeded to talk to him he checked out my backpack and informed me that the patches were too clean. The next time i saw him i believe it was in san jose (it was the day jeff told us to hunt down his old house in stockton) but then he said he was proud of me for having now dirty patches on my back pack. then we saw them in santa cruz next. and a bunch of other times and the last time i saw them, due to lack of moolah... was at Skatecore fest where he showed us how to eat jello pudding without a spoon... yeah, that was awesome! Yep...Mike will always be a toboggan. and he will always be greatly loved and missed. :'o( *sniff* --Renee Mena, fiveironfreeto "rejectsledhead":oP

Yes, it is sad that mike left. When i saw Jeff and Jermy i asked them where Mike is(because he normally runs off somewhere) and they told me that he wasn't in the band anymore. so they introduce me to Nick. He's a pretty cool guy. I miss mike too. After the show, that they played here in town (salinas) WE would all go to monterey and hang out. But it's not the same without mike. But God will bless him where ever he goes.
