Poetry Prediction Assignment

Option A: Poetry Word Poster

· Must use key terms and words that relate to or predict the future.

· Use at least 15 words, but the more the better.

· Make it bold, clear, easy to read.

· Make it colorful.

· Illustrate it too!

· You can use pictures and words from magazines if you wish.

· Use 8.5 x 11" (regular) blank paper.

· Spelling counts.


Option B: Traditional Free Verse Poetry

· Must use key terms and words that relate to or predict the future.

· Minimum 10 lines.

· Does not have to rhyme.

· Spelling counts.

· Remember to capitalize the first letter of each line.

· It can be an Acrostic poem (or two) if you want:

Example: For many it will bring change,

Unnamed people will invent new products,

Then sell them for millions,

Until they are richer than Bill Gates.

Really exciting new inventions will

Eventually become part of our everyday lives.
