The CNA Survivor Series

"Many will Begin Class,
But only a Few will wear Blue"



Official Rules:

A new class begins, and many long lasting CNA's will emerge-- NOT!
Who will be the first to leave? Better still, who will be the last one standing???

-$5 gets you your Survivor Pick
-One pick per contestant
-Students 1st names are written on paper and randomly drawn.
-Owner of last "Survivor" wins all the Cash
-Time limit: 4 months from the first day of Class. If more than one Contestant is still employed, the pot will be split between the remaining Survivor owners.
-The Survivor must remain in nursing (no changes to dietary, laundry, housekeeping, etc....) and keep full time status.
-The Missed Time Rule will be in effect as follows:
If the Survivor misses 2 consecutive weeks (14 days) for ANY reason
(sickness, Family problems, vacation, jail, etc....) they're out.

-The time limit for the series is 4 months, after that the remaining cash will be divided between the remaining owners. Starting date for this game is 4/1.

Update- 5/7/02

This is the longest lasting class we've had in a long time. All five are still here although Roberto has missed 2 days
of work and may be our first casualty.

More on "Bob" within the next couple days I'm sure.
Keep your fingers crossed Sabrina.

It's official, Roberto is history; and so is Sabrina.

5/16/02

Still 6 students left. Yesterday they all passed there Certification test which officially makes them CNA's- Congratulations!

The game goes on at with 2 1/2 months to go.

Nothing new to report. Still 4 left with 2 months left to go.

Big day in the Survivor Pool. Jen is History and that makes Sharon ......
hmm... what's the word I'm looking for..... History!

On a sadder note, Casey has been absent since 5/27 and is in serious
danger of being eliminated by the Missed Time Rule (14) days.
Why is this sad? Because I have her.



6/3/02

They're dropping like flies around a fresh No Pest Strip now.
Jacy just went on a long lunch break....a real long lunch break....
.... like a permanent one!

And then there were two....


6/11/02

It's official- Casey's 14 day limit is up.
Therefore, Casey is GONE; and Jim is (sniff, sniff) GONE.


6/20/02

No real news on the CNA front. Still 2 left with about 5 weeks to go.
Perhaps 2 survivors? Perhaps 2 winners will split the pot?
Stay tuned, the end is near.....




8/01/02

It's official, the Game ends with 2 Survivors.
Congratulations to the Owners -Dawn & Laurie- who split the $30 pot.
And to Cindy & Dee who are now bonafide veteran CNA's.
Now the real work begins: getting Sharon to pay her $5.

Survivor 2 to begin in the near future. Like they say in the movie:
"If you hire them....They will quit."
