To buy lotery tickets in Ontario, you must be 18 years of age. It is a punishable, provincial offence to sell tickets to anyone under age. The draws are held in a studio in Toronto under tight security measures. Each draw is videotaped, witnessed and officially recorded by independent adjudicators.

Beginning Monday, April 5, 1999, Pick-3 and Daily Keno draws will be held an
hour later. Therefore, the winning numbers will be disseminated at 9:30 p.m.
instead of the current 8:30 p.m.
Starting on March 1, 1999, lotteries in Ontario can be bought from 6 AM to midnight, seven days a week. On draw nights, the lottery sales close at draw time and are available at the next day.
Players have one year to claim their prizes. Unclaimed prize money is returned to lottery players in the form of additional
prizes as part of special promotions and bonus draws.

In Banco, Loto-Québec may, at any time, at its discretion, limit the total prize amount payable for a category to $4,000,000. In such cases, the prizes of the category are determined in proportion to the amounts wagered on the winning selections of the category.
Extra is a daily draw. The price of a ticket is $1, and the jackpot is $100,000. The odds of winning are 1 in 10, with a payoff rate of approximately 44%. It is a game that can be played with Lotto 6/49, Super 7, Banco and La Quotidienne. To be eligible for the Extra draw, customers simply have to check the "yes" option on the selection slip. The Extra number is decomposable down to the last digit.
La Quotidienne winning numbers are usually posted by 10:20 PM EST. La Quotidienne has been in existence since September 10, 1979. The price of a ticket is a minimum of 50 cents, with a jackpot of up to 4,500 times the wager. The payoff rate is approximately 45%.
Only the selections participating in both Lotto 6/49 and Québec 49 on the same ticket are eligible for the "Double Play" promotion.Québec 49 winning numbers are usually posted by 9 PM ET each Wednesday and Saturday night. Québec 49 is played with Lotto 6/49. It costs 50¢ to play.
Loto-Québec does not sell any lottery tickets on the Internet. Furthermore, no one is authorized by Loto-Québec to sell lottery tickets on the Internet.
