Daphne Du Maurier

Daphne Interview Extract 1977

SHORT BIOGRAPHY:

Born in London, 13 May 1907

Daphne Du Maurier was a great English author who wrote novels, short stories, biographies and nonfictional books. She lived most of her life in Cornwall which is also where many of most famous stories take place; e.g. "Rebecca" and "Jamaica Inn"; also one of her later and somewhat overlooked novels "The House on the Strand" takes place there. The highlighted titles are especially recommendable
