To Our Children's Children's Children - Threshold 1969
Most often for Moody Blues, many of the songs are put into a general theme, and many of the songs slip into each other.
Only one song of the album was selected as a single, Hayward’s and Thomas' "Watching and Waiting". This single did not do very well, and in fact only few songs of the album's will work out of its concept.
A few exceptions could be Ray Thomas' "Floating", which almost sounds like a children's song a little like "Puff the Magic Dragon", and John Lodge's melodic ballad, "Candle of Life".
The album as a whole did quite well on the charts in 1969 and reached the top 2 in the UK.
In 2018, however, the album may appear a bit too much as a time-piece and one of the Moody Blues albums which has not aged that well.
