Comments: this is a very good album. i like hold on a lot, because i love you is
a 1964 beatles song. too hung up on you is brilliant. crocadillo is not good at
all and c'mon is too jazzy. when tom did ballads or mid tempos, there are very
few who can touch him. 11:23:40, November 11

Comments: For me Too Hung Up On You is the only real Badfinger-tune on this
record. This doesn't mean I do not like it, only that it seems to be far from
what the group used to be. I think that Tom sounds a lot like Elton John on
the chorus of Hold On. Because I Love reminds me of Blondie. Both songs are
among my favourites on this album. 07:05:24, November 11

Comments: A good album from Joey and Tommy, again, the production is the only
inferior thing about the record...Hold On is one of my favorite badfinger tunes
I also like Three Time Loser...overall a very listenable rock-n-roll album!

Comments: Great rock'n'roll album. I think an accoustic ballad or two from Joe
would have balanced the record better, though. It's a much stronger album than
Airwaves. Best songs: Because I Love You, Passin' Time, Three Time Loser,
Rock'n'Roll Contract, I Got You & Too Hung Up on You. The lead off single
should have been Because I Love You. Hold On is way too poppy. I think this
album holds up with Ass and No Dice. 11:25:41, November 10

Comments: I like this album very much. Last thursday I had copied the LP to a CD.
It's nice rock and roll. My favorite songs are Too Hung Up On You, Three Time
Loser and Because I Love You. I think it shows the rocker side of the band,
provided by Joey. (Well, R&R Contract is Tommy's, and it rocks too!) I would
not compare it with the other albums, I'd just enjoy it!

Comments: This album is a favorite. First off the cool Peter Max desgined cover!
I like these 4 songs the most-Because I Love You,Passing Time,Hold On,Too Hung
Up On You. I think the production should be tweaked just a bit more though.

Comments: All I can say is that I love this album. It is fresh and lively with
tremedous potential for commercial success had it been a major label. I have no
problem with the production or direction they were heading. 18:14:54, November 08

Comments: A rather different Badfinger album! More of a rock’n roll album
actually, but not without higlights. The best track must be the fantastic
melodic-rocker “Too Hung Up On You” by Evans, it should have been a single!
Another song that I can’t get out of my head is “Because I Love You” by Joey,
perhaps the most melodic song he has ever written!!!! But I also like “Passin
Time” “Hold On” and “No More”, all three good rock-songs. “Rock’n Roll Contract”
(first recorded for Head First) has been re-recorded, I like the bit: “I gave you
my heart... You made me your slave..” but I hope and think that the Head First
version of it is better! Some more acoustic guitar, and a ballad or two would
have given Say No More the last bit that it misses! 09:55:22, November 08
