Gus is an old tom who had lived a very extravagant life of the theater. He had been very famous for his roles as Fireforefiddle: The Fiend of the Fell and Growltiger in Growltiger's Last Stand. He had received awards for his wonderful roles, and longs to return to the days of old. Now, however, Gus has outlived those days, and finds himself too old to perform any longer. He is accompanied by Jellylorum during his song.
