Kyra came out from under the covers at the tender age of 14 months to go compete with the big girls at the National Specialty in Pennsylvania in April 2000. The flawless moving Kyra was awarded 3rd (in a class of 38) in the Bred By Exibitor Class by Whippet breeder judge, Joan Goldstein.
After warming the bench for 11 months, Kyra was ready to show her stuff.
She finished her AKC Championship in 3 1/2 months with 4 majors
