Here are some pictures of our new home.  The first ones are before pictures.  The after pictures will be an ongoing process for years to come, both inside and out.  When we looked for houses in Selmer we were looking for something small with low maintenance.  OOPS!  We couldn’t resist this one.

As you can see by the before pictures it was hard to see the house through all of the overgrown shrubs (trees!).  It is a three-bedroom three-bath house with a living room, dining room and den.  We use one of the bedrooms for the office (Computer room).  It had a two-car garage, which was enclosed and is now my workshop.  There is a small building that used to be a beauty shop with its own bath and Jacuzzi tub that is currently Matt’s house.  Behind and below the house is a two-room shed that we are currently using for storing Matt’s Junk.  It sits on 2.7 acres that we are trying to let grow up to be forest so we don’t have to mow it.  For the past four months we have tried to limit ourselves to just working on the outside.  When it gets cold we will start on the inside.  It could take years!  I’m guessing five.
