Ian Cherry (Fretted & Fretless Bass)-
Ian is a member of Nova Scotia
Honour Jazz and has participated in “Summer Rock”.
In addition to bass,
he plays trombone as well as drums and guitar.
A member of a combo at
the Canadian Conservatory, he, like Michael, was
one of 11 students to
win an outstanding soloist award in a field of about
2400 people. As
well, he won a Distinguished Musicians Certificate
from the Canadian
Band Association. Ian strongly believes that
bass is the most important
instrument.
