"Organize yourselves; prepare every
needful thing; and establish a house,
even a house of prayer, a house of
fasting,
a house of faith, a house,
of learning,
a house of glory, a house
of order,
a house of God."

LOVE AT HOME
There is beauty all around
When there's love at home.
There is joy in every sound
When there's love at home.
Peace and plenty here abide,
Smiling sweet on every side.
Time doth softly, sweetly glide
When there's love at home.
Welcome to my web page world. In my "web" you
will learn more about Bonnie and Bob, our family,
friends and the things we like to do. Or at least
my idea of it. So read on to find out what is current
in our world. No luck in keeping it short we are a large
family. So fasten the seat belt and we are off.
We came to Carson City Nevada for one summer. That was almost three years ago. Last May as we prepared to return to Utah our church called us to be "Stake Missionaries" for two years. If everything goes as planned and my health improves we will be here one more year.
But we still love it and enjoying exploring Northern Nevada and California. We enjoy nature and
history. This part of the country is filled with both.
It has been great! Seeing new places, finding new things to see and do in old
familiar places. Mostly my husband Bob and I have just enjoyed being together.
Taking the opportunity to rediscovering each other.
The big draw back to this way of living is, we are separated from our family.
Eight children, their spouses and children. There is a lot to miss with twenty
grandchildren and two "greats".
There was never a dull moment in our house hold with four girls and four boys.
Our three older boys John, Chris and Ron, wanted us to experience all the
things their Dad did, while he was growing up. Then there was James, who saw it
his personal responsibility to see that Mom and Dad experienced everything the
older boys did, and the opportunity to experience all that the older boys did
not get around to doing
Our boys have grown into very fine men. They have married and have families of
their own.
James and Dana just had
our latest grandchild. Jenna born Oct 13, 1999 tipping the scales at 7 lbs 7
oz. So Erin who is six now has a sister. Ron and Debbie have two beautiful
girls, Adrianna and Kristen. Chris and Lori currently have a dog, a fifth wheel
and a boat. They love camping and boating and weather permitting or not if you
want to find them look for a lake in the forest. That is where they will be.
John,
our oldest son, had three boys. His oldest son
JD is the father of our first great grandchild. John
left us May 28, 1987, the day before his 31st birthday.
Take the opportunity to read about three of our girls on their own web pages.
You will see by their web pages they are very talented. Take after their
mother.

POLLY
KELLIE
Linda has three grown children, Sarah, Emalee and Jeremy. Linda and her
husband Fred are now enjoy what life is like after the kids have flown the
nest. They love it !! Jeremy is married to Jenny and they have a beautiful baby boy. Emalee married Kyle one year ago no babies yet. Linda and Fred love being geandparents.
How did all this get started? Well, 46 years ago Bob and Bonnie got married
and started a family. The plans to have four children, two girls and two boys
was accomplished in just four years. Then God took over,it seems His plan was
to give this little family, two more boys and two more girls. That was when
they became one big happy family. Well, most of the time.
That is my family, they are who I am. I was a stay at
home Mom until our youngest was in school. Because of them I learned to
develop my talents and homemaking skills.
I learned by trial and error to; sew, do needlework of all types, bake,
decorate cakes, yard work, collect antiques { kids call it junk collecting}
interior decorating, refinish and upholster furniture, and the list goes on.
My life is much simplier now. I spend much of my time on the computer. I love
building web pages. And even though I started a year ago I still have lots to
learn. I have been trying my hand at computer graphics and I have been putting
a few on my web site. I have always loved art and this new medium is no
exception, I love drawing on the computer if I make a mistake I can just delete
it.
When I am not on the computer you will find me reading or practicing my newest
hobby learning to play the piano. When I master that I guess I will learn how
to lead music. Thank goodness we are never to old to learn.
Bob and I still collect
Beanies Babies
and love to go Beanie hunting. But with the new Beanie news next summer will
find us by a lake fishing more and hunting Beanies less.
We are from
Utah
, we love it there, no matter where we
go Utah will always be home. We are members of
The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Saints,
Utah is where our roots are. And I am grateful to my parents for giving me
this heritage. Take a look at my
Pioneer page.
Nevada
is our second home, I have learned to appreciate the beauty in the desert. I
love Nevada, we lived in the Las Vegas area for 14 years and moved to Northern
Nevada a short time ago, and we love it better than anyplace yet.
Who I am right now is subject to change at any time. Because I believe we
should always be setting new goals. We should be willing to learn new things
and always be willing to change no matter how old we are. For what we learn
here upon this earth will be all we take to the next one.
