Hasek's back, Satan's back and the Sabres desire to win is back. Here's My View From the Cheap Seats.
Score one for Hasek and Satan. After Hasek took numerous bashings from the Buffalo media while he was injured, he returned to the ice where Sullivan and the Leafs took over the Hasek-bashing but Hasek held his ground after taking more shots from behind than shots on goal from the Leafs. Neither players seemed to be affected by their respective injuries.
Score one for the Sabres power play. It seemed like just yesterday when our power play was the joke of the league but now who's having the last laugh?
Score not one, not two, not three but score four for Stuuuuuuuuuu in this series.
Score one for the Sabres fans. Usually the Leafs fans out-drown the Sabres home crowd but tonite it seemed like whenever the Leafs fans tried getting any "Go Leafs Go" chant going, our fans would drown them out quickly with "Let's Go Sabres." I think the only time the Leafs fans really made some noise was after their first goal. Hopefully the Leafs fans won't get caught driving drunk back home on the QEW from drinking down the pain.
Score one for Smehlik........ on his own net.
Score one for Kerry Fraser. He actually called a good game for a change. Can you believe that he favoured the Sabres with some of his calls?
Score none for all the missed opportunities by the Leafs.
Score one for Peca as he showed that he could not only cool down Yashin and Allison but also prove that he could even cool down the Sun(din).
Score one for Tie Domi so Sabres fans could pay the price for one ticket and get both a hockey game and a circus show in the deal. Then after the hockey game and the circus we were treated to a boxing match followed by WWF Wrestling.
But don't score one for Cujo. Scoring three on Cujo proved to be good enough for the Sabres. But then Brown would have to score one on the empty net.
Now with the Leafs having their backs to the wall we'll have to see if the Sabres will continue to score or if the Leafs will settle the score in game four.
