The Finesse Game
Primeau is a power forward who goes to the net hard and forechecks well. He can also skate well and win face-offs. He, along with Rasmussen and Kruse have been workhorses last season on the Sabres 4th line. Once when Primeau shoots more often, his numbers will consequently go up.

The Physical Game
I have been extremely impressed with the development of Primeau, both in his offensive skills and his grit now that Wayne can get some more ice-time with Plante playing in Dallas. Primeau, like his brother seems to finally be using his size to his advantage, especially on the forecheck.

The Intangibles
After being on the trade block because of the lack of ice-time he received early in the 98-99 season, Primeau now has a key role on Buffalo's checking line and expect him to move up with Rasmussen as they both develop.

Projection
Now that Wayne has regular shifts with the Sabres, expect him to have a break-through year next season by scoring up around 15-20 goals.
