“Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me. I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, [even] my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded. I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts.” ISA 45:10-13
“I am telling you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe that I am HE. Jn 13:19.
As recorded, The Word of God was with God from the beginning. Jn 1:1, Heb 1:2 The Word of God foretold the history of mankind, HIS children, through the end, from the beginning, as declared by Jesus Christ, The Living Word of God, Yahshua, Emmanuel, which is to say God with us, Matt 1:23.
God Word was declared first, then witnessed, then recorded, then testified ie: Presented as HIS evidence! His Word was and is preserved through all the generations, as even we are witnesses in this generation. God giving man HIS Word, freely, was by HIS Grace and through HIS sacrifice. YHVH carried forth HIS Word to our priest, our forefathers, the elders, the Kings and Queens, the prophets, disciples, and all men as God enabled. This was done so all could hear the good news of God’s Word, His testimony, HIS love letter of redemption of mankind from the errors of sin that brings death, recorded, and given to HIS children.
Knowing the Word of God is to know God. Knowing God is to know that HE is the LORD and cannot lie and HIS Word is true. HE is the creator of heaven and earth and all things therein. Rev 4:16; Col 1:16
The Word of God declaration was foretelling HIS works to come and our future. Many witnesses bare record and testified of HIS works showing HIS Word is true. Scholars compared the prophecy of HIS Word with the events that followed, which is mostly history now. If, in the beginning I heard these prophecies then I might of understood how some would say that will never happen. However, 6,000 years later, truly we are without excuse as we have seen the prophecies of HIS Word become history. Rom 1:20.
The many witnesses to God and HIS Word are recorded and named. I only mention a very few examples in this letter, only using 4 or 5 books of the 66 books in the bible. God foretold and recorded who would be our kings, the priest line of our ancient times, through which he would bring forth HIS Son, The Living Word of God manifested in the flesh, Jesus Christ, that is testified even through our generation. This was done to keep HIS promises that HE made to Abraham in whom HE brought forth many nations, and everlasting covenant, all of which is recorded. “And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.” Gen 17:7 He foretells of HIS children and the Love HE has for them. Foretells the victors of war, list the genealogies of HIS children and what they shall do, and where they shall reside, proclaiming their Kings, who in return, mostly, proclaimed HIS name as Lord.
His Word heals mankind inside and out and provides a spiritual wisdom that preserves the spirit and soul forever, for death is the enemy of God. He declares how HE defeated death and through HIS resurrection shows HE paid the price to redeem HIS children from death, in so much as whomsoever believes and repents shall be baptized by the Holy Spirit for eternal life. Many witnesses bare record. Matt 10:1; 1Cor 15:26; Heb 2:14; Heb 9:12; 1Cor 1:30, Acts 2:38.
Would you care to try such a feat? How long would your predictions stand? Can you record your predictions of the events which are to come to past, over the next 6,000 years, with any sense of truth to the generations to follow? Then, could you have your recordings carried forth to all nations of that time, 6,000 years from now? Go ahead, if you say there is no God, then give me the names of the kings of the land to come, the genealogies of those that will inherit the lands and what will happen to their children. Tell me the details of who, when, where, the miraculous events to come will occur. Be specific in your details, as in the Word of God, and show me if you have any wisdom at all.
HIS Word, foretelling the end from the beginning, gives us evidence of whether HE speaks truths or lies. HE proclaims HIS Word is truth of events to come and by HIS Works, HIS hand, which follows HIS declaration, which was recorded by man from the beginning. “And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.” Jn 14:29 We have witnesses, prophets, disciples, apostles, our forefathers and elders, Kings and Queens of the victors of wars, not of third world countries, but superpowers of the nations, all proclaiming HIS works are as HIS Word declares. These witnesses bare record, as you yourself will read in this letter, of HIS works and of the events that came to past as HE proclaimed. No man can do this. This is the evidence of God, YHVH, whom abodes in HIS Word, Yahshua, manifested in the flesh as HIS Son our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, Amen.
Know you cannot separate the Word of God from God they are ONE. Jn 10:30 You cannot know God without the Word of God. Jn 14:6 The only way to God is through the Word of God Jesus Christ, the Living Word of God whom was manifested in the flesh 2Tim 3:16 and HIS name Emmanuel, God with us.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name: John 3:16-18; Jn 1:12
Lets’ name names and document HIS evidence from HIS recording. From the beginning, defacto, God walked and talked with many men. Adam and Eve in the garden. Gen 3. Abraham in the plains of Mamre, Gen 18., the land of Moriah and the land of Canaan. Gen 22. Isaac in Beersheba, Gen 26, Exo 6:3; and Jacob between the land of Beersheba and Haran at Bethel the city of Luz and in the land of Haran and my favorite verse on the topic is the geographical location named Peniel or Penuel. Exo 6:3 “And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.” Gene 32:30
There were many, many, others that witnessed, testified and were recorded proclaimed hearing and seeing God and HIS Word. How about Laban at Mt. Gilead, Moses on Mt Sinai, Elijah and all the prophets, and let us not forget the enemy of Judah, Nebuchadnezzar, whom converted and believed after taking HIS children captive as was foretold. Dan 4. The list of names is long and distinguished that proclaim the name and word of God. Most all that heard praised HIS name, and were witnesses to the blessings of God bestowed onto man. Not only they but also by the people around them, saw HIS reward, HIS blessings. They were evident and the land was blessed. However, as written, the evidence of God through HIS Word was not only found in blessings and but also in curse’s. Btw anyone that states curses do not exist, it would be like saying punishment from a father on a child doesn’t exist, for to be in God’s wrath, HIS punishment, is a curse from God as foretold.
“Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day: And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.” Deut 11:26-28
I suggest when checking the evidence of God, HIS prophecies, you seek the blessings of God for your confirmation of a God. For as it is written God is a rewarder. HIS rewards are evident and they praise HIS name.
“But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebr 11:6
He will bless them that fear the LORD, [both] small and great. The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children. Ye [are] blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth. Psal 115:13
God was witnessed, recorded, and testified, ie: evident HIS Word providing the blessings and cursings that came upon man, which is to say, HIS rewards and HIS punishments were given to HIS children based on their works of obedience or disobedience. All Good Fathers disciplines their children in truth and rewards and punishments are tools used to teach their children.
Now some say God’s Word does not contain prophecies but are stories that were told after the events came to pass, then recorded. As if any generation would allow such lies. However, to that argument there is but one undeniable truth. The end has not yet occurred, and since the Word of God was given in the beginning foretelling the end, then even we, those in the knowledge of HIS Word, in this generation, are witnesses to the unveiling of HIS truths, as recorded from the beginning. “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” Matt 24:14
Many ask where is God? Why can’t we see HIM? Because you have to put on the Word of God and trust HIS Word as true, many fail. You cannot come to God without the Word of God. Many have said they tried and failed. I say many have tried and succeeded, as I too testify.
Many that don’t believe the truth and reality of God and HIS Word, disregard our heritage, the recorded Word of God as some myth, they mostly believe in the evolution of man, not the creation of man. However, where is the evidence of this evolutionary man? Is it not true, the rock/fossil stories of the evolutionary man, is a belief, which is not observed or repeated? Ie: poor science. If you say no, then I speak to you, there is no fossil record of transitional forms, there are only isolated fossils. The Cambrian explosion refutes that the fossil record matches evolutionary patterns. To say past species are transitional or lead to extinction is dogmatic and most certainly not a fact, but a theory, a poor theory at that. Why, because there were no species similar to the species that suddenly appeared in the Cambrian explosion. You don’t see any half man half apes, or any other percentage, running around, right, an over simplification? Perhaps, however, every man everywhere, over 2 billion samples, all being exactly at the same evolutionary point after 3.5 billion years of evolution, is better evidence to creation that any type of natural selection. We are told evolution is a very slow process and cannot be seen, sounds like some other false gods that have fallen over time. Why do many believe in these rock stories of the evolutionary man, stories which are not observed/witnessed, or repeated, has no other collaboration over the Word of God? God’s word which prophesied the end from the beginning, declaring our past and our future, was witnessed by thousands, recorded and testified throughout all the generations, in His Word HE declares, their rock is not as our rock, “Of the Rock [that] begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee.” Deu 32:18. The weight of God’s foretelling the end from the beginning, recorded, with witnesses, that testified and preserved HIS Word through all generations, to me is a greater evidence of the truth, a fact, of our beginning than the fossil stories you hear today that have no other collaboration.
At least in my school we don’t disallow the theory’s/teachings of our forefathers. Those men that carried forth HIS Word to all the generations in all the nations. Not only showing the truth of our beginning but foretelling of a salvation that has defeated and survives death of the flesh.
Now let us document HIS evidence of where is God:
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” ”Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” “And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, [even] in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.“ “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”
The above paragraph is as follows: John 1:1; John 1:14; Matt 1:23; 1Jn 5:20; 1Tim 3:16;
When reading the above few examples of HIS Word it is clearly written the Word was God, and the Word was made flesh. God was manifest in the flesh, and Jesus Christ is the true God. 1jn 5:20 And Jesus speaking: “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” Reve 1:8
Therefore: God the Father, and HIS Word, the Son, are ONE. In fact: God ABODES in HIS Word, that is where you find God in the Word of God, as recorded. You cannot separate God from HIS Word, only God can, and did, as the Word of God was sent as the son of God, Yeshua, Jesus the Christ, The Living Word of God. “Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou [then], Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.” John 14:9-10
Every book in the bible, except a very few, provide recorded prophecies that can be compared with the events that transpired over time. So every book has some evidence of HIS Word being true or not. The Word of God was given so that you might know HIM. He gave HIS Word from the beginning foretelling the events to come through the end so that you would know HE IS the LORD. No man can do this, it is the evidence of God. In this we see the Old Testament was prophecy of the New Testament, and the NT is the fulfillment of the OT. And in the NT we find more prophecies of the end times, which includes HIS return to earth, and even a bit of what's behind the vail of death, in HIS resurrection and in the rebuilding of HIS kingdom, New Jerusalem. Rev 22.
Note: When quoting God’s Word I put the verses in quotation marks. If there are no quotation marks and a book and verse is posted then know I am not quoting the bible but paraphrasing His Word. This is just a very short sample of the recorded Word, showing HIS evidence, through HIS witnesses as they bare record:
“Men [and] brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.” Acts 1:16 “Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up [his] heel against me.” Psal 41:9
“Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out. And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of blood. For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take. Wherefore of these men which have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection.” Acts 1:18-22
“And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother.” “The Jews then which were with her in the house, and comforted her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up hastily and went out, followed her, saying, She goeth unto the grave to weep there.” John 11:19; John 11:31. “Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been [dead] four days. Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? Then they took away the stone [from the place] where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up [his] eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said [it], that they may believe that thou hast sent me. And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.” Jn 11:39-45; “The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.” Jn 12:17
“And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.” Acts 3:2-3 “Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted [him] up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. 8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God:” Acts 3:6-9; “For the man was above forty years old, on whom this miracle of healing was shewed.” Acts 4;24 “Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.” Acts 4:4 ”Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, [even] by him doth this man stand here before you whole.” Acts 4:10. THEN COMES THE PROPHECY OF ACTS 4:11 written in Psal 118:22; Isa 28:16; “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12. “And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.” Acts 4:14. “Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them [is] manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny [it].” Acts 4:16. “And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.” Acts 4:18-19. The entire chapters of Acts 3 and 4 should be read.
“And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.” John 1:34
“Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him. But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs: But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. And he that saw [it] bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe. For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.”
Jn 19:32-36 Foretold in the OT in Psal 34:20 “He keepeth all His bones: not one of them is broken.” Jn 19:37 “And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.” Foretold a 1000 years earlier in Psal 22:16-17 which states “For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet. I may tell all my bones: they look [and] stare upon me.”
“They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.” John 19:24, Foretold in the OT, in Psal 22:18 which states, “They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.”
“Then the same day at evening, being the first [day] of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace [be] unto you. And when he had so said, he shewed unto them [his] hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord. Then said Jesus to them again, Peace [be] unto you: as [my] Father hath sent me, even so send I you.” John 20:19-21
“The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.” John 20:25. “Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust [it] into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed [are] they that have not seen, and [yet] have believed. And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” John 20:27-31.
“After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he [himself]. There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the [sons] of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.” John 21:1-2. “Jesus saith unto them, Come [and] dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.” John 21:12; “This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.“ John 21:14 (KJS)
“This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true. And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.” John 21:24-25
“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?” Acts 2:1-8.
“But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all [ye] that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:” Acts 2:14. “But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;” Acts 2:16. “And it shall come to pass afterward, [that] I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.” Joel 2:28-32.
“And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.” “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.” “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” John 1:34; Acts 2:36; Acts 2:38. Many know the evidence of receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit.
“The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified [it] by his angel unto his servant John: Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.” Reve 1:1-2.
“And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.” John 16:8-12.
I believe I have heard most all the arguments on why there is no God. And what I find in those that argue against God and HIS Word, is ignorance of HIS Word, lack of understanding of HIS purpose, and an overall laziness to search HIM out.
The past works of our God is recorded in HIS Word and these works give evidence that HIS Word is true which is why we believe by faith in our future as recorded in HIS Word, based on the evidence of HIS past performance and the current evidence of HIS Holy Spirit.
“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].” Ephe 6:11-12.
When you put on the whole armour of God, as instructed, HIS Word understood in your mind, then there is no argument against that which is evident and true. For God answers all questions in truth and cannot lie. Tit 1:2. Remember deception can only work on those that don’t know the truth!
This letter just carries a very few ensamples of God and HIS Word as witnessed. There are so many more prophecies, testimonies, 1000’s really, that could have been documented. You can read the rest of HIS prophecies and the testimonies from Gen 1-1 to Rev 22:21.
