Aaron spent most of his youth in Miami, Florida where he started skating, before moving to Portland, Oregon when he was fifteen. In 1998 Aaron won an unprecedented six ASA Pro Tour stops, and was crowned the ASA Points Champion on Street. In 1999 Aaron became the first male skater to become the ASA World Champion, and the ASA Champion on points in the same year. In 1997 and 1998 Aaron became the first skater to win back to back titles at the Inline/Roller Contest held in Lausanne, Switzerland and added a Bronze from the 1998 X Games to the Gold he earned in 1997. Aaron qualified for the ASA Finals on vert in 1998, after only one year competing.

Raw natural ability and sheer fearlessness make Jonathan Bergeron one of the most dominating skaters in all of rollerblading. When Jonathan puts it all together in competition he is nearly impossible to beat: 1st place-1998 X Games, 2nd place-1997 NISS, 1st place-Levi's Best Trick Competition at the ASA Finals, but when Jonathan misses, he goes down hard, because he always lays it all on the line. Jonathan's ability to get up after a brutal slam and brush himself off and keep skating has earned him the nickname "The Berginator," not to mention, softball size lumps on his elbows called, "swellbows." Jonathan's ability to wreck a mic (in english or french) as effortlessly as he wrecks a street course or vert ramp makes him as fun to watch out of his skates as he is in them.
