#1.   Point at your tank so your tank name appears in the window to the right of the playing field.

#2.   Next press the "Print Screen" key on your keyboard one time, (the Print Screen key is usually found in the top row of your keyboard on the right next to the F12 key).

#3.   Within a few seconds of pressing the Print Screen key you should press the Q key on your keyboard to temporarily quit the game in order to save your screen shot. Failing to do this usually results in losing the shot.

#4.   Minimize your browser window and click on the "Start" button on your desktop, then go to "Programs", then "Accesories", then click on "Paint".

#5.   After the Windows Paint program loads hold down the Ctrl (control) key on your keyboard, (usually found just below the "Shift" key). While holding down the Ctrl key press the V key on your keyboard one time.

#6.   A window will probably appear telling you that the image is larger then the Paint image area and would you like the image reduced, click yes and the screen shot image will appear in the Paint window.

#7.   After the screen shot appears click on "File" at the top right of the Paint window and choose "Save As...". A window will come up where you can choose where to place the saved image. Type a short simple name for the image in the text box with the .bmp extension (example: myaward.bmp) and click the "Save" button. Your screen shot will be saved and you can close the Paint program and return to the game.

#8.   Before sending me your screen shot you should crop it to show just the playing field area using a Photoshop type program and save it as a .jpg or a .gif and I will post it within a day or two.

If you don't have a program that converts saved images there is a great FREE program that is less then 1 MB called PicaVu (it's actually shareware but still continues to work just fine after the free trial period). To use it just right click on any saved image and a thumbnail of the image comes up with lots of info about the image (size, resolution, dimensions, etc.) along with many other options (the print option is great). By highlighting the image dimension information you get another menu that lets you convert any image from a .bmp to a .jpg (or vice versa) or lets you set any image as tiled or centered wallpaper. You can download PicaVu by clicking HERE.
