UFO'S AND IFO'S
It is not uncommon the see specatular light
shows in the
skys above Area 51, however the vast majority
of what you
see can easily be explained as anything from
military
flares to shooting stars, these are what we
will
refer to as IFO's (Identified Flying Objects)
There are
however some lights in the sky that cannot be
explained,
these will obviously be refered to as
UFO'S.
THE IFO'S
Glowing orbs that hang in the sky
then
disappear:
These are common military
flares.
Stars that seem to move accross the
sky:
These are satillites.
A light that streaks across the sky
then
vanishes:
These are shooting stars
Lights that shoot up into the air
from the
base:
Rockets or missiles being test
fired. These are
rare, but do happen a few times every year.
A shiney object that hangs in the
afternoon
sky:
These are usually weather
ballons or debris being carried by the wind.
Entire light specticals in the
night sky:
Usually military combat simulations.
THE UFO's
The lights that appear above Area 51 that
can't be
explained are described as orange colored
glowing orbs that
seem to dance in the sky. They'll move at
incredible speeds
then suddenly stop and hover in one spot.
They make right
angle turns at high speeds, climb straight up
and disappear
out of sight, and on at least on one occasion
one of these
lights was seen skimming along the desert
floor. They are also frequently reported to
change size, shape, and brightness before
moving.
