Welcome to the S.S.A. This site was created 4/10/99, so people could get fishing info online and to help promote fishing in Nevada. It's home is in Elko NV. I try to update fishing reports as soon as I get them. As this site grows there will be pages on many waters in the state.With info on what to use and locations to fish.
I am an avid fisherman who has lived in and fished Nevada all my life. I enjoy all types of angeling from Fly fishing mountain streams to shooting carp with arrows.So I try to cover all types of fishing here. I've fished all over this state and know it fairly well. Nevada has as good of fishing as can be found anywhere in the west.From popular places like Tahoe and Lake Mead to places so remote that they seldom, if ever get fished.
I hope you enjoy this site and find it usefull. This site is under construction. I work on it in my free time (when I'me not fishing)and will be changing and makeing it better continually.I would like to know how you like this site and greatly appreaciate any reports, comments or critque e mailed to me.
