The next morning Heather awoke in Zac's arms. At first she didn't know where she was or why Zac Hanson had his arms arond her. Then the events from the day before flashed through her head.

She got up and walked into the Hanosn's kitchen. "Goodmorning," Jessica greated her from the table.

"Hi. Is everyone still sleeping?" Jessie shook her head. "Mom took Avie and Mackie to by school stuff. She took Zoe with her. Dad went to help Isaac find a job."

"Why didn't you go with your mom?" inquired Heather.

"I got all my school stuff in Tulsa," she answered. "So what are you doing today?"

Widget and I are going to the mall to buy our school clothes," stated Heather.

Just then they heard a series of beeps. Widget ran down the stairs and picked up the phone in the kitchen.

"Hello, Mexico City Hotel." the voice on the other end said. (hey Mexico City Hotel was the best I could come up with so don't laugh to hard)

"Hi. Could you please connect me to room 376?"

"One moment please."

"Hi Widget."

"Hi Mrs. Smith. You guys paged?"

"Yeah. We won't be back till around Christmas. Will you guys be okay till then?" she asked.

"Sure we'll be fine. Some really cute guys moved in across the street."

"Steve hasn't bothered you has he?" she asked with concern in her voice. There was silence on the other end. "Katie?"

"Yes. I've seen him," Widhet answered flatly.

"Did he do anything to you?"

"Well the first time he hit me. Then we saw him at Q-Zar. He was arrested though."

"Maybe we should come home. Or at least your parents." ,p. "NO! I mean you guys stay and have a good time,"

"K. Well your parents aren't here and I gotta go, so tell Heather I love her. Bye," Mrs Smith said as she hung up. Widget hung up.

"They aren't coming home till sometime around Christmas," Widget said.

"Oh, speaking of not comming back. Mom and Dad are leaving to go back to Tulsa to finish up some stuff. They're leaving when they get back from their errands. Ike is going to watch us." Jessica said.

"Did they say when they're going to be back?" Tay asked.

"Yeah like in a month and a half," Jessie answered.

"Widget, we'd better go iif we wanna veat the crowd," Heather said.

"Where are you going?" Tay asked wraping his arms around Widget's waist.

"To the mall. Do you two wanna come?" she answered.

"We'd have to take Jessie," replied Zac.

"No you wouldn't," she piped up.

"This girl LIsa from down the street invited me to go rollerskating with her. Mom already said it's ok." Before anyone could say anything she got her skates and ran out the door.

"Well I guess that takes care of her. We'll meet you at your house in an hour," said Zac.

Before walking away Widget gave Taylor a long goodbye kiss. Heather had to pull them apart.
