Hunting, Fishing, Food & Medicine gathering area's, Ceremonial and Burial Sites, are being destroyed today at a rapid pace and the vast majority of these area's all contain historical data of our ancestor's.

Ancient ceremonial and burial area's, once having a serious, strong and valued respect to the Sovereign Nations, today are being destroyed at a rapid pace, and the legal avenues neccessary to preserve and protect these area's have no legal teeth, and often the Sovereign Nations, must watch slowly as their religious sanctions are srtipped away, and vital area's neccessary to edcuate our youth of our ancestral historic past and the ancient customs and belief's, all soon will be gone.

Slowly Traces of the Past are being wiped away, by modern progress, sold on the Black Market, sold to museums, kept in private collections, dug up by Pot Hunter's, Artifact Collector's and the majority of these sites are being dug up by Amatuer Archaeologist.

Prehistorical, Historical, and Contemporary sites, located on Lands managed by Federal Government Agencies such as the: Bureau of Land Management; U.S. Forest Service and National Parks Service, that are identified as to having archaeological properties related to the Native American Indian Community are not being addressed by many of the Sovereign Nations.

Preseving the Past is vital and neccessary. The educational material that these sites offer can enhance the culture, traditional values, and the history of our ancestor's, but in order to accomplish any manner of preservation and protection of these sites, the Sovereign Nations must make a justifiable endeavor to voice their concerns and interest, for these lands, these sites, this history, is identified as to belonging to future generations.
