This area has been set up in order to inform
you the reader, about Wildland Fire Management.
Each year, many Native American Indian men & women join various Fire
Fighting Teams all across the country, and
prepare to battle wildland fire's throughout
the country and even through the world in
some cases, often putting their life on the
line, in order to help preserve and protect
lands that you the public use for recreation,
hunting, fishing, hiking and just for visiting.
Most of the public lands managed by the Federal
Government contain area's of historical value to
the Native American Indian. Sites of cultural and
traditional value, that are significant to future
generations. Prehistoric, Historic, Contemporary
Seasonal Campsites, Ceremonial and Burial area's
that are impacted by Wildland Fire's, many sites
are often destroyed.
So take the time to browse around, and learn how you
can help assist in preventing wildland fires.
