You either love her, or hate her it seems
across the fan community. Few find themselves in the middle. But in any
case, Relena is an intriguing person, just as any other developed
character of the show.

Civilian Seiyuu Akiko Yajima
Relena Darlian Peacecraft is somewhat of a confusing character for some, and a very simple one for others. She had led the sheltered life of a privileged politicians daughter her whole life. That is, until her fifteenth birthday when she first met Heero Yuy. After that, her world changed with the war, loss of her father, and her new political involvement. During all this she pursued her ideals of pacifism and peace, while also pursuing a certain Japanese Gundam pilot. but as I say, every girl needs a hobby. Most people can say they despise or love Relena, but I think I fall somewhere in the middle. I do like her, even though some of the things she does do seem a bit... melodramatic I guess you could say. But I do not think I can truly say I understand Relena's character and motives or what her life has been like enough to say I can provide a valid judgment on my part.
Notes about height and weight conversions Well, I had to calculate the height by myself with the technique I learned in my biology class. I'm pretty sure I did it right, and the weight was converted with an actual converter. Now, I'm not sure about what those creators were thinking, but I really don't think those are possible measurements for a person of Relena's physique. Even though Relena is slim and could not be called voluptuous or curvaceous, she does have something, and that something cannot be accounted for in a 5'7", 83 pound teenage girl. And even though their heights are the same, you can't really think someone as short as the both of them would be so tall when they're only 15 and 16. Most of my friends and I are the same age and I haven't gone past the 5'0" mark, while most of my friends have advanced little further. So, I'm pretty much going to say they're not true-to-life measurements, but none-the-less what the profilers have written for her. |
