This Mother's Day page is dedicated to the Mothers in my life. My Mother, My Mother In-Law, My Daughters and My Daughter in-laws.
Each one touches my life for good. I am a better person because of the influence they are in my life. I am grateful to my Father in Heaven for all of you.
When I was young every little girl wanted to grow up to be a mother. We had some very good examples in our life.
A grand mother that welcomed us with open arms and freshly baked cookies. A mother whose job was being a wife and mother first.
We took our dolls in our arms and never dreamed what it took to be a real mother. We just knew that was what we wanted.
When we got older and had out grown dolls we tended the neighbor's children and pretended they were ours.
When my first born was placed in my arms so very tiny, I knew this was going to be a much bigger deal than baby sitting. I knew that I would have to seek the advise and help of my mothers.
I am lucky to have a Mother that showed me by her example the reward of hard work. That when a decision is made the only option is to see it to the end.
When I married I was blessed with a Mother in-law that is NOT deserving of the title. She is truely my Mom in every way.
How fortunate I was to have TWO MOTHERS to guide and direct me. To help me be a mother and a wife.
We were really lucky for two sets of parents that set the example of what marriage was all about.
That example was:
(1) Have GOD as a partner.
(2) You can stay married if you
are willing to work
(3) Marriage is hard
(4) Never give up.
When you quit it is over
(5) Divorce is not a choice

You taught me more than you could every realize and much more than I could ever tell you.

Endurance
Honesty
Trust
Hope
Charity
I watched you with your family. I saw your love, your patience, your endurance.
I watched you work in the church. I saw your faith in God, your love of the scriptures. I saw you practice charity.
I was just an ordinary 17 year old that really knew nothing. But I was wise enough to know I could watch and learn from others. And I was blessed with the best teachers.
You taught me by your example
My Guardian Angels
My Mothers.
I am what I am because of you. I pray I gave some of each of you to my children. That you may continue to live on in their lives. And in the lives of their children forever.
