I bought this Tubo Centurion in 1979. It was a sweet ship.
My partner and I bought this Cessna 401 in 1983
This is a C172 on floats I used to rent on the weekends when I was in Grad School in Seattle 1987-1990. Notice the starfish in the fiord water to the left. The big hangar across Hood Canal there is a Trident Nuclear Submarine Base.
I flew these C206's on the weekends will going to the Med. school at Univ. of Washington. This is Lake Union in the heart of Seattle in front of "Triples" resturant. 1987-1990
This shot was taken coming back from Arlinton this summer in my RV-6
Here's a Cessna 340 I flew for a couple years 1993-1994
Here's my partner Dave Elkins in the Pressurized C-210 coming out of Cancun after scuba diving for a week.
Here are O'ring Seals and me in our old Stearman PT-17 about 1976. We taught ourselves some aerobatics in this old baby. Notice all the grey fabric patches on the bottom wings. Some of that is duct tape.
This is a shot of the Old Men's Airplane Building Project. This is an RV-6a I testflew with the Chevy Vortec 262 V-6 engine conversion.
This was my sole means for getting into the sky in High School. This photo is of my friend Betty in 1964. She was afraid to fly by herself but had a private. I rode with her every chance I got in this airplane with no rudder pedals for 3 years. I always did all the flying and she just rode along. We flew everywhere together in it. It was a wonderful little toy airplane.
I started riding in this airplane with O'ring in about 1975 when it was all silver had patches all over it etc. Now it's a national champion!
Here's a shot of Bobby after he won "Grand National Champion" at Oshkosh last year with the old Belly Anchor! Great Job O'ring!!!
This is a C-123 I flew and worked on doing air pollution measurements for EPA, 1972 This airplane flew like shit.
Putting gear on the airplane for missions over Los Angeles
I sat in the seat in the middle and ran all the sampling gear. We pulled air down two plenums, one on each side of the cargo bay.
This is one of the Comanches we just finished rebuilding. Has a new O-540 on the front of it, new paint, avionics and interior. I love flying it. It's so much nicer on the controls than the Cessnas
This is a shot of my 1982 Turbo Centurion. It's sitting on a high altitude strip in the Sierra Nevadas at exactly 10,000 msl. We hiked up to 12,000 from this strip and spent a couple nights fishing on some alpine lakes.
Same trip as above. Great airplane!
