This is a good deal to me. $70 in food can go quite a way at the Reserve, even in their more upscale restaurants. On my last stay there I played about 15k per day through their 50 play machines, but all the good machines have been removed. On my last visit there I didn't play but just redeemed points for food. As far as I have seen the place has gone downhill since it has been "Stationized". This is the first decent offer I have received from them since Stations took over 6 months ago.

I like this offer. It's food for 3 nights in each each month from June 3 - July 12, July 15 - August 16 and August 19 - September 13. The bring a friend rates I have are for $25/$15/$10 for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd nights. I only have about 2 hours of video poker play here at the quarter level from last summer. The only downfall is their hotel isn't attached to the casino.

Flamingo:

This is almost the identical offer I got a few weeks ago with a few exceptions, I get 1 keno ticket instead of match play, I get 2 free buffets instead of bagels and coffee for 2 and I get to pay $10.95 more per night. This offer is really an insult. Going form bagels and coffee for 2 to 2 free buffets but raising the rate by over $10.

OK, I'm just not going to try to figure out the offers from Sam's Town anymore. They just fon't make any sense at all to me anymore. I think by now everyone knows my history with Sam's and about the changes they made to their slot club and comp requirements. This is a great offer but the crystal bowl is a bit wimpy. Not a bad deal especially when you factor in the airline certificates(as long as there is no catch) and then factor in that I haven't played there in over a year. The play I had was minimal on video poker, probably less than $1,000 coin in.

I'm shocked by this offer. Any of you that have been reading this page and my posts on Las Vegas Talk, Vegas Player, and Las Vegas Advisor message boards (as well as current and FORMER customers there) know about how they made changes to their slot club late in 2000 pretty much screwing all of their long time loyal customers. I went from being a gold card customer and a suite any day of the week to getting mid week room comps only. This change was made with no change in my play. The first few months after the changes the offers got continually worse until the May offer which was good any day and offered a silver card. Now without being there since December (where my play was only $1,500 per day because of the changes. I figured why bother!) Now the June offer rolls in and it's for any day of the week with a gold card. I can't seem to figure this place out. Maybe they realized their mistake? Or did the letter I wrote tham a few months ago (along with other customers) make them realize they screwed up. Or maybe it was their quarterly losses that made them realize. I really wonder what's going on here. This is a fantastic offer but I don't think I'm ready go go back to Sam's just yet. (Even though I have reservation booked for July-paid for with the comp dollars from the old comp system that I almost lost). Only time will tell what Sam's is really doing.

I'm not a golfer so I don't really know if this a a good deal or not. I'd venture to say it's not considering I'm formerly a gold card guest (before their terrible changes) that ran 10K per day and this should be comped. This is a great offer considering on my December trip I only gave them about $1,500 in play per day. A silver card through a host will run you $10,000 in action per day. The last few offers were terrible, but coincidently after I sent a letter to my host, who forwarded my letter to management the offers suddenly become somewhat decent again. Right now Sam's marketing depart seems to be in complete chaos and nothing is standard like it used to be before their "new and improved" slot club went into effect.

Looks like a good deal until you realize that with no change in play I went from a suite any day of the week and full RFB to a weekenight offer and 1 meal. I previously gave them about 10k per day in play. I will no longer go there.

Nice offer from the Reserve. Stations has screwed up a few things already like eliminating cash back with about a 1 month notice and increased the amount of points needed to get comps by 20%. However, this is one mailing I never got from the Reserve when Ameristars owned it. Very little mail was sent and usually it didn't offer comped rooms. (I always got comped rooms by calling a host). Last time I stayed there I ran about 45k through the VP machines on a 3 night stay.

This is a great deal considering I haven't been to the Las Vegas Hilton in a year and a half and I have very little play there. It appears weekends are included in this offer making it that much better. If the room rate wasn't good enough, the extras make this a great deal.

Well it looks like a good offer and it is until you compare it to what I used to get for the same play. I used to play about 10k per day through the machines here. This got me a suite and a gold card good for food in all of thier restaurants with no limits. Now I'm back in a standard room with only a $100 limit on food.
