Sunday April 7, 2002

I was up early today and the plan was set to head to all of the casinos in town that I haven’t been to yet this trip to gather some chips and play a small amount in. My travels took me everywhere from Barley’s in Green Valley and Sunset Station, to the entire strip to a few dumps along the way like Wild Wild West, Railroad Pass, Jokers Wild, and Eldorado. Along the way I played some low limit craps at most of these places. Not notable wins or losses other than a great run I had solo on a craps table at Green Valley Ranch. During one point I must have thrown the dice 20 times. I had the board loaded up with come bets and odds and was getting paid every roll of the dice. This was fun! The next 2 points weren’t as good. I walked away with a smaller profit than I could have but it was a good run anyway.

I finally made my way back to the Stardust around 8pm and went to dinner at the Island Beach Café. I ordered the surf and turf which is a small filet mignon and beer battered coconut shrimp. The service was lacking in the beginning but picked up. The meal was perfect and the meat cooked exactly how I liked it. Not cooked much at all! I was a little short on reaching the $25 limit on the voucher I had so the waitress set me up with a bunch of cakes and pastries to help get the bill up towards $25. I though this was pretty cool of her.

After dinner it was time to wrap things up on this trip and start packing up to head home. Tomorrow’s flight is at 9:40am. After getting everything ready I called it a night around 10:30 to go to bed. The plan was to get up around 5:30 am to get ready and have plenty of time to drop off the rental car and to get through airport security.

Total win/loss for the day -$150
Total comps for the day $153
