Day 3
Saturday May 14, 2005

Meets:
Went to a meet at the Triple 7 that was organized on the Las Vegas talk Discussion Boards.

Dining:
Breakfast this morning was at the California Coffee Shop. Just the basic bacon and eggs with toast and hash browns.

For dinner I was supposed to meet Anne and her mom over at the Las Vegas Hilton to have dinner at the steakhouse. Unfortunately her mom was sick and couldn’t make it but the 2 of us went instead. The reservation was for 7pm and as always we requested our friend Mark the waiter. I had the filet mignon and creamed spinach and topped it off with an apple walnut type of dessert. It was way too much food and like I always do ate way too much!

Gaming:
I started off the day with some play on the 10 coin DDB progressives with no luck. Lost $100 in about 45 minutes and hit no quads along the way.

After the meet I played craps with Yahtzee Mike. This table was choppy at first and then went ice cold. With exception of a decent roll I had and a decent roll Mike had (while shooting from the dark side) this table was a total bust. Mike’s last roll kept me alive and I cashed out down only $190. I say only because it was much worse before that!

Before going to the Hilton for dinner I had to make a quick stop over at the Hard Rock to use another $250 free bet coupon. I knew the stickman and he said the table was ice cold. I could see it was true based on the amount of chips people had in front of them and their attitude. I put my bet on the dark side. Of course 3 rolls later the guy shooting made his point and I lost my free bet.

When I got to the Hilton I had 2 coupons to use. The first was $25 in free cash. The second the American Casino Guide $10 match play. I put the match play on the pass line and the shooter rolled a 7 on the come out for a nice $20 win. I played a little more on the craps table and finished up ahead $27 before it was time to go eat dinner.

I had all intentions of playing at MSS but after I got back from the Hilton I was exhausted. I thought I’d take a short nap but that turned out to be 2 hours so I just stayed in bed and called it a night.

Total win/loss for the day - $200
Total comps for the day $116
