Day 4
Sunday May 15, 2005

Dining:
For breakfast/early lunch I went to the Cal coffee shop and had some soup called Won Ton Min. It’s wontons, noodles, and pork. It was pretty tasty and way too much to eat. The service was very slow in here today for some reason even though it didn’t appear to be busy.

Dinner tonight was at Fuego, the steakhouse up at Fiesta Henderson and the 4 of us were comped by our host up there. I had the filet mignon and it came with soup or salad (I went with cream of asparagus), potato, and vegetables. The food was every bit as good as the Hilton’s was last night and at ½ the price.

Gaming:
Started off the day at MSS playing some of the 10-coin 5 play machines by the buffet. I did pretty good here getting a good number of dealt winners that you need to stay alive on this game. I popped 4 quads including 4’s and aces. I cashed out the session after about a half an hour with a $200 win. I got 4 scratch cards. Three of them were for $2 and 1 was for $3.

After cashing out I went up to the Hard Rock to use my final free bet coupon. I put it on the line and rolled an effing 3. I only won 1 out of 4 of these coupons but the one I did win was huge. I bought into the game and played a while after I lost the coupon. The table started out choppy but I had 2 pretty good rolls. I got an hour of action and cashed out with a $300 win and headed back to MSS. I think the funniest part of one of my rolls was when I was shooting. After I set the dice I looked up to throw them and the waitress was at the end of the table. I launched both dice off the table on a fly and hit her with them. Oops!

After getting back to MSS from the Hard Rock I took a shot at some $1 play. This was a nightmare. I lost $400 here in about 30 minutes. Other than a full house and a flush or 2 I had no hands higher than trips.

Next stop was the craps table. This had to be one of the slowest games ever. That turned out to be a good thing because the table was cold and it limited my losses to just $100. The 4 of us met up at this point and headed out to Fiesta Henderson.

Up at Fiesta Henderson I had a coupon for $10 in free play and a coupon for a $25 free bet. We all started with some craps. This game was very reminiscent of Crapsfest last year. We all had some decent rolls to save ourselves from total disaster but we all lost. I dropped about $200 here. I never used my free bet coupon for fear of losing it. I’ll head back up there later this week.

After dinner I played my $10 free play on an 8/5-bonus machine. I turned the $10 free play into $4 real cash. I ended up losing that plus another $20 of my own. I did get about 45 minutes of play on that $20 though so it was a decent little run.

After dinner at Fuego we came back to MSS and played P at the bar. This was a nightmare too. I was quickly down $100 and didn’t hit a hand better than trips. I tried another $100 and got some decent play out of it. My best hand was pulling a straight flush on a 2 card draw for a progressive of $68. In the end it didn’t matter though. I managed to cash out down $100 for the session. My scratch cards were 3 for $2 and 1 for $3.

Total win/loss for the day -$300
Total comps for the day $114
