Day 6
Tuesday May 17, 2005

Hotel:
After lunch and some action at Fiesta Henderson I headed down to the Silverton to check in. Obviously I don’t need the room considering I’m already registered in 2 hotels as it is. This mail offer was good for $75 in free play and you have to be a registered guest. So, for those keeping score, I am now registered in 3 hotels at the same time.

Dining:
Met my friend Gary up at Fiesta Henderson for lunch at the Baja Beach Café and some Feel Good Soup! I was looking forward to this for a long time and it did the trick. As always it was way too much to eat though.

For a quick dinner I pulled into Jack in the Box for a couple of tacos. Not exactly the greatest meal but really quick and easy.

After leaving the Cannery I went down to Circus-Circus for something to eat. I went to the Pink Pony Coffee Shop and had the meatloaf and chicken noodle soup. The best part here was being able to cut in front of a long line and be seated before everyone else!

Gaming:
Started off with some craps action at Fiesta Henderson. I still had a $25 free bet from the other night that I didn’t use. I hit the craps table where New Jersey Ned was dealing. The table was choppy but I was doing ok. When it was my turn to roll I bet my coupon on the pass line. I promptly rolled a 3 and lost. The rest of the roll was pretty good and I was hitting numbers one after another. I also took great pleasure in wiping out a dark side player.

After looking the room over and a quick break, I hit the casino at the Silverton to use up my free play. At the bar I played 8/5 bonus and did well hitting quite a few quads and pulling flushes and full houses one after another. After about an hour I had turned the $75 in free play into $150 cash.

From Silverton it was off to the Cannery to continue to earn 5X points for my action. Once again I went with 8/5-bonus triple play. Things were good here and I was getting quite a few quads to keep me going. I even hit quad jacks, which is the card of the day paying an extra 100 coins. The dealt winners were plentiful and it was a good session for a while. Then it was like someone turned a switch again and I was losing every hand. Nothing is worse than playing 7-8 hands and not getting any pay out at all. I finished this session down $100 but did play for a long time on it racking up a ton of points.

Next up was some craps. The table started off ice cold but warmed up a little. I had 1 roll and was able to hit 2 points but did roll the dice for about 15 minutes before sevening out. After about an hour I quit with a win of $200.

I took one more shot with the triple plays after craps. I hit a quad right away but the other hits just weren’t there. Just as I was about to quit the session I was dealt a full house and ended the session with a $25 win to end my day at the Cannery.

I went to the slot club and cashed in some points for $114 in gift cards and cash and left the Cannery on a good note. Between last night and today I hit them for over $600 in cash and gift cards.

After dinner at the Pink Pony I went over to Slots-a-Fun for some 9/6 jacks triple play and 2X points. This machine was treating me really good. I wasn’t getting that many quads but I got A LOT of full houses and dealt winners. I also hit the card of the day quad for a $10 bonus. This kept me right around even for the entire session. The highlight (or low light) was when I got dealt 4 aces. To make that even worse instead of holding all 5 cards I was a glutton for punishment and held just the 4 aces, drawing a 2 kicker on not one, but two lines. Oh the pain that caused. After about 2 hours I was down $98 and called it a night.

Total win/loss for the day $300
Total comps for the day $574
