Day 21
Today is once again moving day and this will be the final move of the trip. I can’t believe I’m winding down to the final days already. It seems like I just got here.
My first stop for the day was at the Pinball Hall of fame for a while since it was a little early to check in. When I left the Hall of Fame I stopped off at the Hard Rock because I had a $50 free bet coupon. This coupon ended up costing me 3 grand even though I won it. Other than one shooter the table just wouldn’t heat up. It seemed just as things were getting hot the shooters would seven out.
Today’s move is to the Las Vegas Hilton. This stay is on an offer that came from play in Resorts Atlantic city. It’s good for 3 nights and $25 in cash and double comp dollars. I haven’t stayed or played at the Hilton in quite a few years so this is a good chance to get back in here.
I checked in and was put in room 7127 in the north tower. It has a king bed with nightstands, work desk, arm chair, dresser and flat panel TV. The bathroom is tiny compared to most bathrooms these days.
Once I got up into the room I went out to Fiesta Henderson for dinner at the Baja Beach Café and had my favorite Feel Good Soup again. It didn’t make me feel better about the earlier ass kicking though. I finished off dinner with some ice cream and was stuffed after that.
On the way back to the Hilton I stopped off at the Pinball Hall of Fame again. I figured it would be a good way to save some money and I can spend hours in here for under $10.
When I got back to the Hilton I played some double deck blackjack. The table was pretty good for a while got cold then warmed up again. I pressed my bets at the wrong time as usual. That’s always been my problem with blackjack. I’ve always had bad timing. Things leveled off again and I finally colored up with about a $200 win.
