Day 4 Saturday August 10, 2002

I slept pretty late today getting up at noon. It looked like a good day to go to the pool so that’s what I did. I spent about 2 hours down there reading the paper and going in the water. The pool temperature was pretty cold today. Odd considering it’s been well over 100 degrees every day for the last few weeks. By about 2pm the whole pool is in the shade. I came back up to the room and got ready for the day.

I went to the casino for a while and started off with some more ACES Bonus poker again with no luck. I didn’t hit any quads and hands above a flush were far and few between. I went back over to the triple play machines again and did much better here. I played for about 45 minutes and was lucky enough to get dealt a quad. I cashed out here up about $100 getting myself ahead a little it for the day.

After a short rest up in the room I headed out for something to eat and to gamble for the night.

I decided to go up to Fiesta Henderson to get something to eat. I have almost 400,000 points in my account and comped meals are going to be coming my way for a long time. I went to the Baja Beach Café where I ordered my favorite Feel Good Wonton Soup. Everything was good here tonight including the service, which at times is lacking in this place.

After dinner I played craps. They have a $1 game with 10X odds. This is a pretty good game. Things started out good here but then fell apart. As usual it seemed like every time I got the board loaded up someone would throw a 7. I finished up down here. It was getting late so I went back down to the strip and went back to the room.
