Day 10

Meets:
Today was yet another meet that was organized on the Las Vegas Talk Discussion Boards. This time it was downtown at the Triple 7 at Main Street Station at 1pm. I got up way too late to make this meet. Sorry to all who were waiting for me.

Dining:
For a quick lunch I grabbed a bowl of soup at Sunset Station at Panda Express.

Dinner was at Fuego over at Fiesta Henderson. I went with the small filet mignon with a baked potato and broccoli. The meal also comes with soup or salad. I had the chicken rice soup. Everything was very good as it always is here. I’ve probably eaten here 10 times and have never had a bad meal or even a so-so meal for that matter.

Gaming:
I went over to Sunset Station today to try my luck at craps. I should have just stayed in bed. The table was choppy at first but I couldn’t get ahead. Then the table went ice cold and I ended up dropping everything for yet another $500 loss. If things keep up like this everything I won last week will soon be gone.

After dinner I met up with Rich and Dawn for some VP action at Green Valley Ranch. I played an 8/5-bonus machine with a progressive royal for each suit. I was getting killed but hitting quad 4’s twice in 5 minutes pulled me out of the hole and a few full houses and quads put me ahead $50 for the session.

Rich and Dawn left to get ready to go home tomorrow and I played a little more VP machine hopping playing random games, some with really bad tables. Oddly I did better on those games than on the 99% games. In the end and about 3 hours later I lost my $100. That’s not too bad for 3 hours of action on poor pay tables.

Now for a little entertainment I played a Password Penny slot. I put in $10 and played on that for almost an hour. I never expect to win playing these but they are fun for a small investment.
