Day 11

Today once we got motivated and ready to roll I hit the casino and the craps table. Things started out choppy and then totally went to hell. I thought the tables at the Hard Rock were cold last week but they had nothing on this table. It seemed like every shooters was going number, number out. I only got to play for about 2 hours and next thing I knew I had blown my entire line of credit. I was not happy with this and pretty disappointed in the small amount of play I got.

After licking my wounds we got ready to go to dinner. The plans were to meet Rich, Dawn, Yahtzee Mike and Dana for dinner at Fuego. On the way there we stopped off at the Ethel M Cactus Garden that is decorated for the holidays. I had never been here before when it was decorated and it was also a first for NNylons. She really liked it. With me being me and being a guy could have cared less about seeing it! (Ouch, she just hit me).

From Ethel M it was off to Fiesta Henderson and we all met at the bar outside Fuego. I originally had a reservation for 8 but there were only 6 of us. Instead of just seating us at the table I had reserved they decided to make us wait 15 minutes while they moved us to a table for 6. Other than this everything was good as it always is at this steakhouse. I went with my usual filet mignon with a baked sweet potato, and chose the soup. Tonight it was butternut squash. It was very good but too rich and filling. We were all stuffed after our meal and the final bill was $175 for 6 people, and that included drinks. This meal on the strip would easily have run $400.

After dinner we hung out a little longer before going our separate ways. NNylons and myself came back to the hotel the long way, taking a scenic route along the over crowded strip. By the time we got back it was getting late so we hung out up here and watched the action below on the strip before calling it a night.
