Day 12
Wednesday December 26, 2006

Today’s plans include some sight seeing and a walk over to Bellagio to check out the conservatory. NNylons has been looking forward tot this for the entire week. It was of course done up with a Christmas Holiday theme.

After we left the Bellagio we came back over here to get the car and then to head to Circus – Circus. I have a room reserved here for 2 nights in order to take advantage of $100 in free play. I don’t need the room but they make me take it. I know some people reading this don’t approve of double booking and would call me a pig for doing this (and some already have) but you can go eff yourself if you don’t like it.

I checked in at VIP and it was busy with people checking in that didn’t belong in there (they should have been in the casino invited guest line). In a few minutes we were off to room 812 in the main tower. This is a standard room wit 1 king bed, night stands, TV/dresser combo, and work desk. The bathroom is small with a standard tub, toilet and vanity area. They have also upgraded their soap and shampoo from the old classic stuff they’ve been using for many years! The view of this room was of the strip, mainly the Riviera and was partially blocked by concrete grating on the windows and the pink and white big top.

We looked over the room and then went downstairs to the Casino Café for lunch. I had the cream of tomato soup and a chicken tender wrap. As usual this was way too much food. The wrap also came out and the chicken was cold so this was sitting somewhere for a while and I wasn’t thrilled with it.

After we ate lunch I stopped by the slot club to activate the free play. I played it through on some short pay triple play dollar machine and turned it into only $50.

Next stop was Slots – A – Fun for some more video poker and a little low limit blackjack. This is one of NNylons favorite little places to play. Unfortunately they removed my favorite triple/five play machines and the tables were packed so we skipped out of there. My rating at Circus – Circus just took a huge hit because of this but I can live with it.

We left Circus – Circus and went out to Henderson to Sunset Station. NNylons had never been there and the plan was to play some blackjack and then go bowling. We sat in at a $25 double deck game and it started out tough. Dealer hands were always 10 up and she was pulling quite a bit and not breaking. NNylons got killed pretty quickly but I stayed alive with an abundance of blackjacks. I started hitting some double downs and climbed out of a hole and got ahead a few hundred. Of course, when I pressed my bets the dealer got hot and I lost most of what I was up. I colored up the session with a $200 win.

Next up was to the bowling center. I had a $30 comp from the pit for this so we played 3 games, got shoe rental and bought 2 pairs of socks for a total of $29.50. NNylons had been telling me all week she was going to whip me so it was now time to put up or shut up. When it was all said and done, well let’s just say . . . she got her ass kicked!

For a late dinner/snack we went to the Sunset Café for some soup. There was nothing special here, just some chicken noodle to get through the rest of the day.

When we left Sunset Station I drove NNylons around to see some of the other places in town she’d never been to in North Las Vegas including Santa Fe, Texas Station and the Fiesta. It was starting to get late after these quick stops and we came back to Planet Hollywood.

Total win/loss for the day $250
Total comps for the day $538
