Day 15
Saturday December 27, 2003
The Feel Good Soup Meet was set for 6pm. There wasn’t supposed to be a huge turnout as this was set up privately. It ended up only being Yahtzee, Kiddo, the Bostons, and me. Instead of making it a Feel Good Soup Meet we went to the buffet.
Dining:
After quitting gambling for the day and sitting up here in the room writing this report I was getting hungry so I headed back down to the Baja Beach Café for a late night meal. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. Service was quick and easy and I was back up here in no time.
Gaming:
From deuces we moved over to the craps table and things were good here for a change. Mike shot well and I followed with a good roll too. The next shooter was fair and then it went to hell from there. At this point the Bostons had arrived and Kiddo was there too so we cashed out. I finished ahead by $140. Whooo! A winning session!
After dinner we tried some more craps. This was really bad and everything I had won earlier was going along with another $25. Of 7 shooters none of them made a point.
I took a short break from the gambling and hung out with Rich and Dawn (The Bostons) at the bar for a while. After they left I found Yahtzee Mike at the deuces machines. I didn’t play any thing there but we both moved to the craps table. Things started out well here and I even wiped out a guy on the don’t. Of course keeping with the theme of things this table went to shit and I lost everything I bought in for. We both decided to call it a night. With ½ day more left on the trip I have enough left to play a little tomorrow before heading back home to NY.

Meets:
While me and Mike were playing deuces we remembered there was a meet at the Golden Nugget that was set up on the Las Vegas Talk Discussion Board. It was too late to make it so we kept playing. Soon it would be time for our mini Feel Good Meet here at the Fiesta.
The Feel Good Meet ended up being the Buffet meet. Both Mike and me had coupons for 2 free buffets and I used my Macho Millionaire status for 50% off and used points to pay for the 5th person. The food is pretty much the same on this buffet and is usually pretty good.
I met up with Mike around 1pm and played deuces wild for quite a while. I was holding my own for a good portion of the session and didn’t hit any large hands along the way. Then I hit 3 wild royals within 10 hands. From here it was all downhill and I finished the session down $25. Too bad all the losing sessions weren’t $25 this trip.
