Day 10
Monday December 27, 2004

Dining:
Lunch today was another quick hotdog and a Coke from the Cal Snack Bar with a bag of chips.

Dinner was at the Triple 7. I sat at the bar and had the meatloaf dinner. It was very good and one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s now on my list of favorites.

Gaming:
I started my day off with a final trip up to the Cannery to finish up racking up 5X points on my card. Today my game of choice was 8/5-bonus triple play. This turned out to be a good choice. I was hitting quads and getting a good amount of dealt hands that I needed to keep alive. The best part of the quads is that I hit 4 aces 4 different times. I think this may be a record in one day for me, let alone a session. I cashed out here with a $300 win.

After cashing out at the VP machine it was time to roll the dice. The craps game was $3 with 10X odds today (unlike $5 last night). Things started out choppy but weren’t bad. There were some rookie players on the game that were also from NY (Long Island). A few good shooters hitting a bunch of numbers got me ahead. I shot 4 times and 3 of those times I went out on my first roll. Talk about cutting your own throat. My 4th and final roll was decent but nothing outstanding. I stuck around a little longer and got whacked when one shooter set his point, rolled 2 numbers and then went out. This will kill a come player. I colored up with $140 win.

After craps I went back to the triple play machines. This machine was starting to suck money down quick but then I hit 2 quads to keep me in the game. I was getting a fair amount of dealt winners but didn’t seem to be hitting anything big. I was staying at about the same level. That’s when it happened. I was dealt 4 aces. To add a little insult it was actually 4 aces and a kicker but unfortunately I was only playing standard bonus and not DDB. I cashed out here with another $300 win and called it day at the Cannery. I went over to the slot club to buy some gift cards with my points and headed back down to Main Street Station for dinner.

After dinner I hit the Boar Bar at MSS. The bar was pretty busy and I ended up playing at one of those Treasure Chest machines. I’m not a huge fan of this game but I figured I’d play a little while Bartender Bob poured me drinks. I was into the machine for $35 but was lucky enough to pull quite a few flushes and full houses. I finally hit a quad. On this game you choose 1 of 5 Treasure chests and get the prize in it. I hit for 250 coins and cashed out with a total of a $100 win. I stopped playing at this point happy with today’s total!

Total win/loss for the day $900
Total comps for the day $185
