Day 13

Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday to ME! I am 29 years old today. Started the day off with breakfast at Smokey Joe’s. Had some blueberry pancakes with bacon. They were really good. 3 big pancakes full of blueberries. After breakfast tried some video poker on the lucky draw machines and had no luck at all. Lost $100 in less than 10 minutes so I moved to another machine and lost another $100 in about 10 more minutes. Moved to blackjack to try my luck there. I played here for over 3 hours and won $300. Of course as usual as soon as I try to increase my bets the dealer gets hot again. Played some more video poker after this, again with no luck. Couldn’t seem to hit very many large hands. I did get quite a bit of play on this time though.

Went to Mary’s diner for lunch then back to video poker and some triple play this time. It was progressive on the royal flush, depending on which of the lines a royal was hit on the jackpot was different. I did hit a straight flush again as well as quad aces 3 times. Played for 2 hours but ended up only cashing out even. Tried my luck on blackjack again. Things just didn’t work out here. Tried 4 different tables with absolutely no luck at all. Every dealer in this place was on fire. I don’t recall ever seeing so many dealer 21’s. So much for good luck on Christmas. After getting my ass totally kicked at the tables I just gave up (which I should have done an hour before I did) and went to bed.
